GBtotally disappointing experience totally disappointing experience, had a break in due to their sheer negligence, left them a set of keys for a vacant property and they failed to secure french doors leading to a break in - fortunately nothing was stolen but damaged doors and had to get in a 24 hour locksmith on a bank holiday which cost an arm and a leg! Abode completely refused to acknowledge responsibility even though they were the only ones who had keys to the french doors - delisted them and got my key back off them they're only interested in taking your money and doing as little work as possible - they would ring me to meet prospective buyers saying that they were short of staff!! NEVER USE THIS ESTATE AGENT

GBPoor! Really, really poor communication - unanswered emails, unreturned phone calls and was made to feel like everything I asked of them was an effort! Totally unhelpful.

GBDuring the sales process of our house… During the sales process of our house Abode estate agents were absolutely fantastic Michelle worked tirelessly to get our very complicated sale through effectively, without her constant focus and energy I dont believe we would have achieved the positive outcome we did. GBIgnored sales enquiries, poor communication Sent a sales enquiry via Rightmove and followed up with an email a day and a half later. Received an auto response saying they will reply to the enquiry as quick as they can…… well all I can say they must be extremely busy to not be able to answer a quick email within 3 days especially in a depressed/ stagnant market. From experience with other agents, I’d say they are most likely bone idle and would prefer everyone else to do the work for them including potential buyers!

GBI had this company for my recent house… I had this company for my recent house purchase. The service was poor, the sales progressor never replied to emails, I mean never like after 2 months! It was a nightmare having to communicate with them between me and the seller. The seller once asked to get my email to speak directly but they refused to even ask me due to data protection! It makes no sense as I would have given my consent to avoid using them. If in the Derbyshire area I would try elsewhere if you are wanting a good service that is contactable. The only saving grace was the branch manager was helpful a couple of times when I would complain about the awful service but this didn't seem to prevent it happening again.
