Masha Allah All too often we donate money to projects and don't really know where and how the money is used. Paani does an amazing job with their transparency, communication, and photos/videos. And besides this, they are providing clean water to those that are desperately in need. How often do we take this blessing for granted? We brush our teeth, flush our toilets, and take showers without even thinking twice about what a mercy from Allah SWT this really is. Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.” May Allah SWT bless the efforts of Paani Project. May all those who work for/with them and all those who donate to their cause be rewarded abundantly in this world and the next. Amazing experience with this… Amazing experience with this organization. Donation options are outlined with detail on their website which makes it super easy to see exactly what your money is being used for. Their customer service team is extremely responsive and helpful. A folder full of all the information related to the wells is sent to you once complete. The pictures are amazing and so is the meticulous process of this company. I will definitely be donating through them again.

Shady side to the Paani Project Although the water wells they may be building might be legit, the orphan programme they collect funding for left a few questions that needed answering. I had tried reaching out to them on facebook, even emailed them asking these questions and got no response. Since building wells doesn't really require premises like an orphanage, I wanted to know how they were finding these orphans, if there was an upper limit to how many orphans they had access to. It's been a good 5 days and although the messages are read on facebook chat messenger, zero response. Word to the wise, just because they may be building wells, when it comes to other charitable work, please do your due diligence and ask the right questions and get the answers needed before you proceed. Not sure what they are up to, but if a bad review is what it takes to get a response from them, then they are shady. I have the messenger chats and the email should proof be required. EDIT : As predicted, the team contacted me saying they received an email from trustpilot about me posting a review, how could they further help? When I asked them to answer my original question's, they had no answer. If I had any doubts before, they just confirmed them.

Beyond happy! PAANI is an amazing organization I was blessed enough to make a water well for my 4 grandparents. PAANI was a pleasure to work with as they are such an amazing organization. They kept me updated throughout the process and I didn’t not feel like i was left in the dark about what’s happening with my money. When I was provided with all the pictures of the well once it was done, I was overjoyed with happiness. Everyone at PAANI, thank you for all the work you do all year around, May Allah bless you and all your efforts, ameen.

Found my charity of choice for future donations! Absolute amazing experience with this charity. They stand by everything they say. In fact they're quicker than I expected.
