GBI spoke with Charnelle who was so calm I spoke with Charnelle who was so calm! She answered every question regarding my bills and explained the negotiations that LHS had with my provider. She also explained to me what services Self Pay Advocates assisted with and provided me their contact information. What amazes me is how she went above and beyond and even called one of my providers to advise that a check was sent out. Her customer service was outstanding.

GBLook elsewhere Look elsewhere. Needed knee surgery in May 2020. Followed their pre-approvement procedures. Reimbursement has been a several hour battle of attrition every month since then. Their tactics include saying it’s been coded incorrectly, submitted incorrectly, can’t find the paperwork, etc. A truly awful bunch to work with. End every call with have a blessed day. Received our final check today, short paid of course by over a thousand dollars. What bothers me is that they tout that they are a Christian organization doing the lord’s work. To which the lord might say get off my side. You’ve been advised.

GBUnpaid bills since 2021 with $23K in collections are all paid now. Our family has been a member of Liberty Healthshare for years and years. And Liberty Healthshare has not covered our bills since 2021. I don't know if they will ever pay. --- Update 10/19/2023: After a 1-star review on TrustPilot, LibertyHealthshare contacted us and assigned a dedicated rep to look into our unpaid bills. It took 3 months and all of our outstanding bills are now paid.

GBConstantly changing the rules because they can't keep up with payments We joined liberty healthshare In 2016. Family of five. We were enticed by their low monthly pricing and annual unshared amount as we my husband and I were both self employed with young children and were relatively healthy. In 2018, I suffered a medical issue that left me in a coma a two weeks of hospitalization. Liberty did work with me pretty well to navigate this, but my credit did take a hit. It was rough and the hospital was calling about payments. By 2021, everything was cleared up. However, oue monthly fees were going up and unshared amount was also going up, and liberty was covering/sharing less. We were also not getting reimbursements back in timely amount, with Liberty citing extenuating circumstances. In October 2023, my son needed a tumor removed. I went through all of the pre notification and worked with liberty to get it okayed. I started getting all the documents after the surgery and started sending It into LHS for reimbursement, but LHS said I had the wrong forms, not a UB04 and other tax forms. I provided all the information that they needed but they changed how they processed things and would not work with the hospital to get the right forms. We left LHS in Jan of 2024. I continued to send in paperwork for reimbursement but the story kept changing why it was denied. lHS would not get back to me. I sent in more paperwork and LHS finally said my claim was Deniwd totally because I sent it in after 60 days since we left. Even though it was the same claim and it was supporting documentation. And I had been trying to work with them and the hospital for months. They wouldn't take the information and kept blaming it on their processors. However , they somehow were able to reimburse our deposit that we paid for our son's surgery but not the whole surgery. When asked about this, they blamed my giving them information too late and the wrong information. I started giving them information and calling them a month after my son's surgery. In November of 2023. However, I kept them updated continually with their pre notification department right after his surgery that he was not staying as an inpatient. There is something that doesn't make sense. I have called, pleaded and tried everything. But, LHS is not a service worth working with.

GBI went with their premium program that… I went with their premium program that was to cover 100% after paying $1,500 out of pocket expenses up to $1M. They appear to have cash-flow and management issues and after nearly a year now have paid only a very small portion of the expenses related to my heart-related event. They make it so user-UNfriendly that anyone who is not tech-savvy (most older folks like me) will have a near-impossible time navigating the quagmire of their system. My credit is completely ruined and it is Liberty HealthShare’s fault.
