GBLiberty Health Share - POSITIVE EXPERIENCE I chose Liberty healthshare as we are a very healthy family and regular insurance was getting quite expensive for the self employed. We were SOLD on the Christian basis behind their mission. Last year I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and without really having a primary care physician (as I am never sick and believe it or not - they file your charts away) - Liberty was there not only to help with the best care - THEY WERE SO PROMPT on their payments to my care providers. I couldn't have had better care my physicians AND Liberty Healthshare - who checked in on my status periodically. I also had a few providers that didn't accept LibertyHealth Share. In working with Liberty Healthshare - they informed me of how to get the best rates, turn the bills into them and BAM - they paid!

GBtake any other available option..DO NOT USE I cancelled my "membership" today effective 12/31/2023 when my new insurance would become effective. I was then told that anything submitted after the end of October would not be eligible for "sharing". I asked how this could be correct as I have paid my membership for November and December? I was quoted a portion of Page 11 in the guidelines. If I wanted to be covered in case of an emergency I would have to pay the January and February 2024 fees to be eligible for December 2023 potential services. When I look at my account I see that my fees have paid for others, but nothing for me. This is supposed to be a bible based Christian organization, I guess their Christianity only goes as far as they get money! Sounds a bit like the pharisees of old. All show and nothing to deliver!

GBConstantly changing the rules because they can't keep up with payments We joined liberty healthshare In 2016. Family of five. We were enticed by their low monthly pricing and annual unshared amount as we my husband and I were both self employed with young children and were relatively healthy. In 2018, I suffered a medical issue that left me in a coma a two weeks of hospitalization. Liberty did work with me pretty well to navigate this, but my credit did take a hit. It was rough and the hospital was calling about payments. By 2021, everything was cleared up. However, oue monthly fees were going up and unshared amount was also going up, and liberty was covering/sharing less. We were also not getting reimbursements back in timely amount, with Liberty citing extenuating circumstances. In October 2023, my son needed a tumor removed. I went through all of the pre notification and worked with liberty to get it okayed. I started getting all the documents after the surgery and started sending It into LHS for reimbursement, but LHS said I had the wrong forms, not a UB04 and other tax forms. I provided all the information that they needed but they changed how they processed things and would not work with the hospital to get the right forms. We left LHS in Jan of 2024. I continued to send in paperwork for reimbursement but the story kept changing why it was denied. lHS would not get back to me. I sent in more paperwork and LHS finally said my claim was Deniwd totally because I sent it in after 60 days since we left. Even though it was the same claim and it was supporting documentation. And I had been trying to work with them and the hospital for months. They wouldn't take the information and kept blaming it on their processors. However , they somehow were able to reimburse our deposit that we paid for our son's surgery but not the whole surgery. When asked about this, they blamed my giving them information too late and the wrong information. I started giving them information and calling them a month after my son's surgery. In November of 2023. However, I kept them updated continually with their pre notification department right after his surgery that he was not staying as an inpatient. There is something that doesn't make sense. I have called, pleaded and tried everything. But, LHS is not a service worth working with.

GBDo not trust Liberty to pay on timely basis or at all. Long time user of Liberty 9 years. Minor claims mainly "covered annual physical/wellness" checks. In reality.. better just to self insure if you are otherwise healthy. Just got dinged on a collection call because they had not paid our "covered" annual check up done 6 months ago. Do not use this org... deceptive and does not pay communicated committed coverage in a timely manor. I can not imaginable if you had real issues on this program... you will be out of luck for sure. This is a no trust org. I wish I could give it ZERO stars!

GBLiberty Healthshare? Liberty NOshare is more like it! $700 claim remains unpaid in over 2 years! They took my money and never paid the service providers, even though they represented to me that they would. I just received a bill two years later that they had promised to pay and never did. The healthcare provider tried no less than eleven times to get paid only to get nothing but ignored. I contacted Liberty Healthshare to press for an answer of when the bill would be paid, and the response I got was scripted doublespeak. i never got an answer to my question of when the bill would be paid or if it ever would. I am stuck with the bill, and here I thought it was taken care of two years ago. Thank goodness it was only $675. The problem with this outfit is that, unlike an insurance company, it is unregulated. The day I receive reimbursement is the day I shall take this down.
