Unable to cancel - Hotel California? I have been paying on-time (auto-pay) since April, 2020. Since day one, I've submitted zero expenses for sharing/reimbursement. That's nearly $10,000 in funds I've contributed to this sharing "ministry." I have new insurance kicking in on Feb 1 and logged into the portal to cancel my membership and can't find any way to cancel. Now I'm reading reviews that Liberty Healthshare is more than 2 years behind in paying their members' reimbursements! My guess is that Liberty was unable to cover their members' expenses and is using new money to pay overdue health shares. Has it become a Ponzi scheme?

Unpaid bills since 2021 with $23K in collections are all paid now. Our family has been a member of Liberty Healthshare for years and years. And Liberty Healthshare has not covered our bills since 2021. I don't know if they will ever pay. --- Update 10/19/2023: After a 1-star review on TrustPilot, LibertyHealthshare contacted us and assigned a dedicated rep to look into our unpaid bills. It took 3 months and all of our outstanding bills are now paid.

I spoke with Charnelle who was so calm I spoke with Charnelle who was so calm! She answered every question regarding my bills and explained the negotiations that LHS had with my provider. She also explained to me what services Self Pay Advocates assisted with and provided me their contact information. What amazes me is how she went above and beyond and even called one of my providers to advise that a check was sent out. Her customer service was outstanding.

Waiting 2+ years for reimbursment I have been waiting for over 2 years for Liberty Healthshare to reimburse me for covered medical bills. I have called dozens of times only to receive the same response: "we have no idea when you'll be reimbursed" Nobody has any information and they are completely unwilling to help in any way.

Stay clear of this criminal scam company, and I don't mean back a few years ago when they were sued for fraud and embezzlement, I mean now in 2024. This company only takes money and never pays the bills you submit. The phone help only gives you the scripted run around trying to tire your out so you give up and they keep your money. They won't let you cancel your auto payment on the phone and require one month notice in writing to cancel your billings. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS! LIERTY HEALTHSHARE IS A SCAM!!!
