The worst e-shopping experience I ever had The worst experience I ever had with ‘e-shopping’. I ordered an e-bike, it never came. For weeks I was trying with the customer service. Email after email. At first, I was getting the same automated answers. Covid excuses, supplier problems, they even claimed delays due to the Chinese New Year! Then they completely ignored me. Weeks turned into months. Meanwhile, false updates kept coming up in the site. Hopeless. I was mad, felt my money was lost, but I did not let go. That’s what they want you to do by being so unhelpful. So I also ignored them and made an official compIaint to the bank. After following a certain procedure, the credit card issuer fully refunded me, even after so many months -in the end they acknowledged it was a scam (what served as proof were the actual emails I got from indiegogo customer service!)

IndieGoGo did not payed to us… We have organize a successful campaign for a new film about Gaza, after the worldwide success of our first film that it is on Netflix. They haven’t send us the funds. No explanation. No way to communicate with them. Literally, they are holding the funds of all the donors which in good faith have donated their money. We are a production company with 22 years of track record. Still don’t know if they will pay. However, keeping our funds and not even communicating with us speaks tons about IndieGoGo’s Inc lack of ethics, transparency, and lack of accountability.

Tipping Scam I can see that many reviews are about the product and not Indiegogo (which are inccorrect reviews). My review is about Indiegogo. When paying for your product Indiegogo will add a 35 dollar tip on the order. It is visible in your order before you pay, but it is put on silently. so I payed them 35 dollars tip which I never wanted to. They get money from any orders you make already, so the tip is just a scam.

A front for scammers and Ponzi schemes galore! Haven for simply taking peoples hard earned money and then placing the blame ultimately on the “backer” as its very clear they dont hold any of the “campaign starters” liable for the claims they make. Even after the campaign creators have then switched to selling the product on their own website. Opposed to following through on the campaign statements.

This platform is full with scams This platform is full with scams and won't protect the backers at all. Many of us invested a reasonable amount of money and after 5 years nor have we been refunded, nor where there a lawsuit against this company, to insure we get our money back. Instead we are left to deal on our own and beg a scam company, so we get our refunds for a product that was never delivered (it's been 5 years now!!).
