If it weren't for the elastic in the headband... It's a great hat, but felt snug. I bought the L/XL, and assumed that the adjustable strap would offer enough leeway for a comfortable fit. And it would have, had it not been for the elastic within the headband. Even with the strap fully loose, the elastic created that extra little bit of compression— which I knew I'd regret when mowing the lawn on a blistering summer afternoon. Favoring the hat's look and functionality, especially the way it protects the neck from the sun, and wanting to find a way to enjoy it, I considered cutting the elastic— but then that seemed like a recipe for failure. So, unfortunately, the hat is being returned..

Sun guide cap replacement I recently replaced my well-worn Sun Guide Cap. It has been my favorite go-to outdoor cap. The new one, however is bigger and deeper (both are medium). It does not fit as well and slips down too low over my forehead and on my glasses. This is a disappointing discovery. The one improvement I do like is the little tab for tightening -- even though I am unable to tighten it as with the previous design. I wish a small size were available. Service is great.

They fixed my mistake My order somehow got messed up- it looks like I may have typed my zip code into the address line, and my order ended up going to some random person in a different state. Once I let Sunday Afternoons know about the issue, they quickly got a new hat to my correct address. And the new hat is great, like all of the others that I’ve bought from them over the years.
