Customer Service I just ordered my first bag with Barracuda. Initially I ran into some problems with the payment system however when I emailed the support line, I spoke with Paul who helped identify and rectify the issue. Finally, the order has been placed and I look forward to receiving my new bag. The customer service received by Paul was quick, efficient, professional and friendly. It has been a pleasure. Not durable I bought this bag in its Kickstarter days. Lots to like -- handle, wheels, collapsability. Unfortunately the bag is not durable. I used my first bag on a trip overseas, always put it in the overhead compartment, handled it as one would a carry-on. By the time I returned home the fabric at the lower part of the zipper was frayed to the point of splitting from the fabric. Assuming the damage was a fluke I contacted customer service and they promptly sent a second bag. I used the second bag on an overseas trip and again, treated it as one would treat a carry-on. Same wear pattern, same place, after only one use. There is a lot to like about the bag but the angle of the zipper at the bottom end of the bag simply invites excess wear.

Really disappointing bag with too many issues I received this as a gift and knew about the company from its Kickstarter days. I wanted to like the luggage, but it is a really big disappointment. Here are primary issues: 1. The bag just doesn't have much usable space - the large handle and battery pack both take a lot of space up inside. The bag fits considerably less than my other 2 rollaboards. 2. The tray is useless - first, it is way too difficult to unzip and get out of the handle and once you do, it is so small, I could not imagine actually putting a laptop on it. Total gimmick. 3. Overall cheap build that makes me wonder how long it will last., Zippers, interior clasps, handle... The idea of "smart luggage" is interesting, but save your money and go get something else. You can get a good quality bag for half this cost and add on a portable battery - you will have the same functionality with more space and better longevity.

As promised! I am very happy with my Barracuda! It meets almost all of my expectations. The tracking unit could have been explained better before placing an order. Learning the limitations, I may rely on another product. Otherwise it is beautiful. I do hope it will hold up with extended use.
