I called Mr. Nik of Americas Bike Company about this issue. Without hesitation, he promised to send me a replacement. The ABC customers service is the best, they are very professional, and courteous. I called ABC for a guide before I started the assemble, a YouTube link was email that guided me through the steps. I am awaiting the new pedal delivery. You can see the quality of Schwinn Tango Tandem Cruiser Bike life. The bike looks elegant, and it's extremely beautiful, I can't wait to get my wife on it for a ride.
