GBVery good to sell, very bad to fix. I purchased a Modern Surfboard a month ago from the website, and just after three uses, I noticed cracks on the edge of the board after a session. Devastating. Barely had the chance to try this board. I have a similar board, same material composition and thickness, which I have never had issue with, nor any board in my surfing experience. In contacting the company, they advised that it could not be a fault with the board and refused to assist me or hear me out. Will not be buying from this company again.

GBMy adult daughter called to make⦠My adult daughter called to make certain she would obtain the proper bag for her surfboard. She gave the exact size and type of board to the representative who then stated she needed a particular bag. I purchased the bag for her as a gift. It did was way to large for her surfboard. My daughter called the company which stated that they would issue a credit if she paid to return it. The cost to return the bag was $27.00 by UPS ground. Here is the frosting on this cake! Their representative recommended the wrong bag, In addition to my daughter paying $27.00 to return the thing, Global Surf is charging me a $30.00 restocking fee. These people are ripoff artists. BUY NOTHING FROM THEM

GBTerrible Europe Customer Service... Terrible customer service from the European side, two emails with no reply at all. Don't make the best boards either, new HS hypto krypto creased on the first surf while duck diving. Other people have had similar issues with the GSI boards made in Thailand

GBwant to review but still waiting for my order... It's been three weeks and still waiting. At least a dude called and told me the board that was going to ship was damaged so the are looking for another one? All communication went blank since then...so yeah?! Will re review upon receipt of my purchase.

CADisappointing I surfed the modern love child for the first time last week. The board surfed great and a caught about a dozen waves. When I came back in I noticed the board had compression in the top deck. I know this tends to happen to all boards as the age...but on the first surf! The day was mid sized mushy waves. I had no collisions or bad wipe outs. The compression is from popping up to my feet?! I'm guessing it is a manufacturing defect. I contacted the place where i bought the board and the company claims this is a wear and tear issue. I followed up with the couple board repair shops on the coast they say this type of problem all the time with Global Surf Industry boards. They figure it is inexperienced workers over sanding the epoxy coat as they mass produce boards. Anyway...its all pretty disappointing. Lesson learned. I won't be buying from GSI again!
