Teva; quality in free fall After 11 days of using a pair of sandals the strap broke. I just used it for normal walking and going to my job. This model is considered the strongest and waterproof model btw. The strap wich hold your feet on the sandal was NOT made in one piece, inside the rubber sole it's cute, and glued together. This is not a coincidence, they make the sandals like this. So they don't last long, it destroys itself automatically after some time. My last trip in latin America I did with the same model, but there occurred another problem. The straps can NOT resist the head from the beach, and pulverize in a few weeks.

Fell apart in just TEN minutes! Purchased a VERY expensive pair of Teva shoes. Walked from hotel room (smooth tiles) to swimming pool. Less than TEN minutes the sole fell off! VERY badly manufactured. No response from customer service. Cheap local vendor shoes out lasted the entire hoilday including swmmming in the sea !!

No grip- broken ankle Beware these sandals are dangerous! I got them for backpacking in Costa Rica as they came highly recommended. Unfortunately on my 2nd day of wearing them 3 days into my holiday I slipped and severely broke my ankle. The grip on the sole of the sandal is non existent and these are dangerous. I reached out to teva to be told they don’t know of any grip issues and dismissed. I’ve seen at least 3 other reviews of slipping due to grip. Considering what I have been through your customer service has no empathy

Poor customer service and long dispatch/waiting times Extremely terrible customer service as a New Zealand based customer. I have heard good things about Teva sandals so I ordered on online through their website but when I placed the order it had failed due to a technical issue. So I did another order but then realised the first order did in fact go through so I have ended up with two duplicate orders. I have emailed the company but have gone three days without a reply, so I called the Australian based customer service number (there isn't an NZ based number). They were extremely unhelpful and just said that once an order has been placed it can't be cancelled, even though it was due to an error on their part. The order hasn't even been dispatched yet?? They weren't even able to give a time frame for when it will be dispatched. Please do not order through the Teva website, if you do want to get Teva sandals go to a store like Katmandu or MacPac but I would recommend another brand like Chaco.

NEVER, NEVER could connect with a live human. I persisted because we had been loyal customers. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE (or lack thereof). Makes me sad!! Former NORDSTROM executive
