Great experience with people like us It was our first simultaneous exchange and it was great to meet our exchange partners. We got on very well, they were definitely “people like us”.

PLU is a great fit! Highly recommend! Only great things to say about our experience on PLU. The staff and hosts are friendly, responsive, and full of ideas on how to find exchanges. Having access to a Facebook group and an internal feed is quite helpful with locating last minute opportunities or to see places that otherwise weren’t on my radar. I tell others all the time about People Like Us and highly recommend the platform to friends and family that are curious about home exchanges. We’ve secured a number of exchanges for 2024 and look forward to meeting these fellow travelers and kindred spirits. Well done PLU!

High response rate and so many nice notes We are organizing our first longer trip to Ireland with multiple exchanges. It looks it will work out well. Nice places could be easily identified. One exchange is already finalized, two are in process. The incredibly high response rate and friendly notes reveals a community where people like to share or grant others a good time. PLU is about people, trust and respect - and sharing.

So many possibilities! People Like Us is a great platform to connect with like-minded people who would like to explore lesser known places. We are open to traveling pretty much anywhere within our preferred countries and PLU allows to find others willing to do the same. Recently we reached out to a new PLU member in New Zealand about an exchange and, even though she hadn't considered traveling to Canada, she accepted a longer-term exchange for later this summer!
