Great experience with people like us It was our first simultaneous exchange and it was great to meet our exchange partners. We got on very well, they were definitely “people like us”.

We finally have an exchange! After much messages we finally have an exchange with a family from Millburn, close to New York City. We haven't been there yet, so just the acception of our offer is very nice

So many possibilities! People Like Us is a great platform to connect with like-minded people who would like to explore lesser known places. We are open to traveling pretty much anywhere within our preferred countries and PLU allows to find others willing to do the same. Recently we reached out to a new PLU member in New Zealand about an exchange and, even though she hadn't considered traveling to Canada, she accepted a longer-term exchange for later this summer!

New comers We joined PLU 3 months ago and have been very impressed with our experience so far. We had an exchange organised within a month. Unfortunately our exchangers had to cancel due to ill health but within 2 days we had another exchange organised. The people we have dealt with so far are great - very quick to respond and very helpful.

People Like Us is addictive in a good way We love People Like Us. This site makes a special way of traveling possible. The information about the homes is clear. The amount of detail provided is personal. A successful exchange depends on good communication. PLU offers a great platform. The Facebook page is a welcome addition that strengthens the community feeling.
