GBFirst time using the site First time using the site. Reservation went well although fees seem high. Arrived at campground and the owner wasn't aware that we were coming. Thankfully she had a site that accomodated us. I forwarded our confirmation email and she is going to try and figure out why she wasnt notified.

GB5 star service The lady that helped me, Emily, was just wonderful. Her customer service was the best I have had anywhere in a long time. Refreshing that there are still good people out there answering the phones versus AI and call trees. Definitely would use Spot2Nite again just based on how helpful Emily was.

GBBooking Fee Ripoff… When making a campground reservation I was surprised to see a reservation fee of $24.00 which amounted to $6.00 per night. The fee could be waived if I signed up for a free 14 day subscription to Spot2Nite after which they would charge an automatically renewing monthly fee. I didn't buy in to this scam and instead called the campground directly to make the reservation.

GBBeing able to book online Being able to book online. Some private/Good Sam parks require a call to set up or finalize a booking. I try to have everything booked in advance and find it a major hassle if I can't book and confirm online during the evening when I schedule my trips.

GBFees Fees, Fees and more fees! watch out for booking fees, credit card fees (which are outrageous $8) and cancellation fees if your plans change. A Spot2night cancelation fee of >$30 AND the campground fees. For a $286.92 booking we had to cancel more than 30 days in advance, my fees came to $53.12!!!
