GBEagle’s Landing vacation home rental This place was perfect for what my family and I needed. The space and amenities it came with were just right for all of us, from the toddlers to the older folks. Only things I would suggest on improving would be more thorough check of the grounds due to finding two dead birds upon arrival - one by the garage and one on the roof next to the master room balcony. Perhaps a bigger or extra bear locker for trash, curtains for the bathrooms for those showering or taking a bath can have privacy since a lot of the windows face the neighbors, and updating facts about the place to reflect things like the garages are NOT for patron use. Just little things that definitely did NOT detract from how awesome the place is. Thank you!

GBGreat experience with Buckingham! Great experience with Buckingham! On very short notice, Paul was able to find me a fabulous house on a 4 month lease. Not an easy feat when winter is approaching. I was moved in less than 24 hours later. The Buckingham team was also able to expedite the move-out process, inspection and deposit return. I will definitely be going back to these lovely folks when I return to Tahoe.

GBFrom the very beginning Exceeded our expectations! From the very beginning, I felt taken care of by Cristina and Paul! They were extremely accommodating and friendly! The properties we viewed were all very well-maintained and beautiful! We loved the spot we picked as it was so clean, spacious and serene! Staying at South Lake Tahoe right on the beach was so amazing. Thank you, Buckingham!

GBNot advertised correctly. Extreme basics in house. The house had only extreme basics - no coffee maker, no can opener, no extra towels, no extra bedding. The last email of our booking and the bottom of the page mentioned boundaries of the beach. Advertising of the house was not clear as to what beach access we have for the weekend. A room off the master with a fireplace and couch was closed and locked off, again that wasn’t advertised correctly. We were the last renters of Marla Bay house so that may have been why we were left without basic rental house supplies.

GBRental was inaccessible, poor communication The driveway and road was completely iced over and resulted in us having to buy chains in order to access the rental. We expected the rental to be accessible considering the area had not received snow in 3+ weeks. The only line on their website mentions "4-wheel drive cars are highly recommended". We did not see any reference to needing changes or a 4wd car in the instructions, emails, or any other communication. It would have been great to know that they are needed to access the rental. In talking with their customer support they stated that it was sent in an email but they were unable to point out exactly where. They then hung up when I asked to chat with a manager. Fair caution to anyone considering booking through this company.
