GBDoesn’t compare well The condo was okay, but definitely not as nice as others we have rented in the same building. The kitchen was not well stocked. We were amazed at how much deep cleaning was needed: ceiling fans were very dirty, cabinets dusty inside, bathroom drawers gritty, etc. The main windows in the living room had no curtains. Every other condo we have rented in the same building has had these. We would not consider renting this unit again!

GBMaintenance needs to be tightened up. There were multiple issues regarding maintenance. The most egregious item was cleanliness. The last thing we want to do when we arrive is clean the place, and organize it. There were also many safety related issues. There were also some real fundamental items that left us wondering if property maintenance was even happening. We have rented this property multiple times, and other are contemplating renting it as well. However, I'm not so sure we can be an advocate for this property after this last stay. We are planning out next event at the beach, and we may not book this property after all the details that were overlooked. We were also inconvenienced by a faulty refrigerator twice. The first time was understood. However, the replacement unit could have waited until we checked out the following day.

GBDewees Island is beautiful and… Dewees Island is beautiful and peaceful, love the place but the home we stayed at needs some serious maintenance. There were many issues such as the a/c going out Friday night and we had to deal with the heat and humidity for 2 days. We were offered to move to a new location but there were 8 women and lots of groceries to relocate. Icemaker did not work, ceiling fans did not work, lighting issues, serious problem with fire flaming up on grill, sewer gas odors, internet was not good........Disappointed in trip this time.

GBThe rental was filthy The rental was filthy. Many of the doors would not shut/latch properly. Overall was very disappointed with the condition and upkeep of the rental, would not go back, and would probably not use the company again, if this is the quality of their rental properties.

GBThe Pond House Check in was quick and easy. The house was dirty, the curtains were hanging off the wall, sheets were stained in one bedroom and the appeared to be some sort of electrical issue with the outlets on 1 wall. The rental agency was quick to address the curtain and had a cleaning company to reclean within a couple days. I notified them of the electrical issue upon check out as it wasn’t affecting our stay. The elevator was nice for carrying grocery’s. The outside seating is cheap and flimsy. Several in our group complained that the pillows were flat. The kitchen was stocked well and there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms for our large group. The beach was very close and it was easy to carry chairs and beach stuff back and forth, there were a few chairs and boogie boards by the outdoor shower. The grill is charcoal. We will look for a different house next time we stay in Folly.
