An amazing Borneo experience! Sam, our TB guide, did an amazing job at finding the birds and other wildlife on our custom tour of Borneo. Brazil Revisted! Hi there! My friend Hantz and I had a great time for 12 nights in Brazil with Nick Athanas on a private photo tour! We were st some great parks, some private reserved and even a home of a retired engineer with whom Nick had cultivated a relationship over the years who show cased some great rear birds for free!! Though the weather was not kind to us yet Nick worked hard to give us yet another memorable birding experience!

This was a great tour where hard work paid off. This was a great tour where hard work (pre-dawn starts and long up- and downhill walks) really paid dividends. We saw 14 different species of Birds of Paradise and heard another - in spite of not being able to get up into the mountains because of political instability. Hotels, lodge amd homestay accommodation were just as described, food was goos and plentiful (and not too spicy). My only concern is that 9 guests is too many for a tour of this intensity of forest birding. W Papua is a fascinating part fo the world and can be strongly recommended.

We spent 5 wonderful days in and around… We spent 5 wonderful days in and around Tandayapa with Alex Luna. He was wonderful with an uncanny ability to spot birds by sight and sound. He was easy to be with and very patient with those of us who were less experienced. He did everything in his power to make this an enjoyable trip. He also spent time with me setting up for photos at the hummingbird feeders at Tandayapa Lodge and I was able to get some memorable shots. Our driver Marco was also wonderful. The roads we travelled were dark, foggy, muddy, bumpy and often single-laned and he was able to get us safely to our various destinations with confidence. Can't say enough good about Alex and our experience in Ecuador. I would recommend Tropical Birding to anyone interested in serious birdwatching.

Outstanding private photo tours We have completed 3 private bird photo tours with Pablo Cervantes as our guide. All have been outstanding. Itinerary perfect for our age and activity level. Pablo has outstanding knowledge of both birds and photography, and has helped us improve our photos immensely. Cannot recommend him and Tropical Birding highly enough!
