GBultimate Warbler tour- USA I throughly enjoyed this tour. It was my first ever organised birdwatching trip and I traveled alone so I arrived at the start nervous and not really knowing what to expect. Fortunately the group dynamic was excellent with everybody getting along well and our leader Andres managed to balance the days to accommodate everyone’s wishes. We saw everything we set out to see and a few surprises were thrown in. Accommodation was fine and generally meals were good with an odd exception . The initial rental minibus could have been better and comfort improved once this was changed by the car rental company part way through the tour

GBA fantastic tour to Japan in Winter… A fantastic tour to Japan in Winter with Tropical Birding! Great Guide Charley Hesse, we saw all target birds including Stellers Sea Eagles, Blakinston Fish Owl and the rare Ross’s Gull. Excellent Food and Hotels and Lodges. An excellent tour couldn’t have been better!

GBCosta Rica Introtour 2018 A great tour with a great guide, Scott Olmstead. His knowledge of birds and ability to find them was fantastic. Birders often have interests in other parts of the natural world, and Scott had something to offer in many areas there as well (8 life frogs, woo-hoo!). Best of all, though, was his attitude throughout the trip. He was always patient, quick with a smile or laugh, and generally had exactly the sort of calm personality one wants to be around when going through the early mornings and long, hot days of a tropical excursion.

GBWe spent 5 wonderful days in and around… We spent 5 wonderful days in and around Tandayapa with Alex Luna. He was wonderful with an uncanny ability to spot birds by sight and sound. He was easy to be with and very patient with those of us who were less experienced. He did everything in his power to make this an enjoyable trip. He also spent time with me setting up for photos at the hummingbird feeders at Tandayapa Lodge and I was able to get some memorable shots. Our driver Marco was also wonderful. The roads we travelled were dark, foggy, muddy, bumpy and often single-laned and he was able to get us safely to our various destinations with confidence. Can't say enough good about Alex and our experience in Ecuador. I would recommend Tropical Birding to anyone interested in serious birdwatching.

GBThe tour was wonderful The tour was wonderful - covering almost 2,000 miles from Curitiba to Belo Horizonte and discovering 458 species of birds. Beautiful sights! Nick Athanas is an expert bird finder and is fascinating to watch. Also picked up some good photo tips from him. We already miss the place and want to do it again!
