Fun, fun, fun! I had a great time on my trip to Ecuadar a few years back. It was my first big, out of the US vacation. Detour made it fun, easy, and comfortable! I loved the variety of events planned for each day: snorkeling, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and more! Some of which were a first for me, all the tour guides were helpful and accommodating with each activity. I definitely look forward to my next trip with them :)

The Inca Trail & The Amazon It was an adventure! I loved hiking the Inca Trail with Amazons Explorer. Our guide shared his enthusiasm of Inca history and our angels, who carried the camping equipment & food, made it possible for me to do the hike. The next leg of our journey was a trip to the Tambopata Research Center on the Amazon River with Rainforest Expeditions. I don't think I will ever forget the sounds of the Rainforest: the Macaws, Howler Monkeys, a night time boat ride under the stars... Detour Destinations helped put this trip together. They helped with pre travel information, gave me an itinerary with contacts & phone numbers should travel plans change enroute, guides met us at the airport. Seamless travel, I loved it.

Wonderful trip to Ecuador and the Galopagos Islands Our trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos went off without a hitch! The guides spoke excellent English and were very informative and fun to be with. They always met us on time and never left us wondering what we should do next in a country where we do not speak the language. Our cruise on the Eclipse was delightful and we made many friends among the passengers. We highly recommend Detour Destinations and hope to use them again on our next adventure tourism experience.

An Amazing Adventure through Peru We spent 23 days in Peru from Lima to Tambopata. We hiked and camped on the Salkantay and Lares Valley, visited Machu Picchu (of course) and enjoyed days on Lake Titicaca, in Puno, Cusco, Arequipa, Colca Canyon and the Tambopata National Reserve. This was our DREAM vacation. Every detail, connection, domestic flight, guide (and expert climbers) were perfect, professional and friendly (we stay in contact).
