GBSantana cycling cruise to New Zealand This was our first Santana trip and we will definitely be back! We loved the opportunity to vacation with so many other cyclists. Being on a boat for the entire trip allowed us to unpack once at the beginning of the trip and then not have to pack up again until the end of the trip. That was a nice feature of a cycling cruise. The cycling was challenging but there were route options to fit every rider ability. The trip was well organized and despite the number of people on this trip it still had a personal touch. Santana does a great job, their experience shows. The trips are more expensive than other outfitters but I think the difference is in the cost of the boat. In my opinion it’s worth it.

GBRave reviews on New Zealand Bicycle Cruise It’s our second time cruising with Santana. Impossible to believe but it rivaled or was even better than the first. A sampling of culture, history, scenery and some amazing rides. The tour staff provided solid service and support. The ship provided great accommodation and food. We’re grateful to owners/host Bill and Jan for a meaningful experience. Something my wife Fei, daughter Ellen, friend Greg and myself will talk about for years. We’re already signed up for two more cruises in 2025.

GBMy 7th trip and have 2025 booked This is my 7th trip with Santana and again couldn't have been happier. The boats crew, accommodations, and ability to bike daily with all gear and belongings remaining in one place is special. I again loved the routes reach day and the flexibility. Will be on the 2025 Florence to Barcelona trip next. Santana support has improved every year and my daughter came and had a wonderful time even as a non-cyclist.

GBOne and done with Santana It’s hard to even give it a 1 star. This trip was the 3 D’s Disorganized Dangerous Disappointing Bill didn’t have the routes ready until an hour before the ride. His chicken scratch maps would make a 4 year old laugh, and he had nothing planned at any rest stops. If we did stop at a restaurant, they would run out of food by the time the later riders arrived. The routes took us on busy roads which were quite dangerous. All and all a very disappointing experience. I have done 15 Backroads trips and I will never waiver now that I have tried Santana Adventures. One and done!!

GBAvoid this dishonest company Santana cancelled a trip in Spring 2024. They are not providing a refund despite having my money in a trust (supposedly). The owner, Bill, is not communicating with the group in a transparent manner. It is remarkably disappointing and frustrating.
