India Visa - The Smart Way If I could give 0 stars I would do so. This Company is one of many that offer E Visa Services on the web. It cleverly crafts its web page to look like the official site of the Indian Government. It's not. They act as agents and charge you circa £70 for a 30 day visa. The official Government site charges only £20. The Forms are pretty much the same. Make sure you find the official site at indianvisaonline.gov.in

Be warned of Mr Amid the manager he is a complete fake con artist. A Delhi hiding thief. Once you paid, they are the biggest crooks hiding behind the phones. My visa card already warned me with a text message about their Indian high risk "razor" to pay the company, they claimed $135, then they actually charged $143, for a service that the Indian government makes for 100% free! My passports origin had a free visa country agreement. Contrary to the immediate phone calls I made with the fully unreliable staff and what is written on their website they don't refund it. Don't panic! They've got it covered GBR passport holder in China needing to be in India within 48 hours... Bad enough position.. On a Friday before a public holiday on Monday. I couldn't have been in a bigger hole but these guys were on it! Within 18 hours of me first having my 'oh ****' moment I had a visa and was good to go. Phone and email communication was friendly and first class - considering I was very stressed. Highly recommended

etaindia saved my daughter's holiday etaindia saved my daughter's holiday. Last night we were in despair - my daughter had booked a flight to India tonight but had not got a visa and was horrified to discover she could not obtain one on arrival. After panicking and then some frantic searching I discovered etaindia who offered a 12 hour turn round on Indian visas. Although this cost twice as much as a standard e-visa there was no choice! We therefore went ahead and filled in the paperwork. and, affter submitting it we received immediate confirmation - which was reassuring. Because time was short, I telephoned their offices twice (using skype) and immediately got a reassuring update. At 11am today I got an email announcing that the visa would be delivered in 4 hours - and it duly arrived at 2pm - remarkable considering yesterday was a Sunday. In 30 minutes my daughter will be leaving for Goa singing the praises of etaindia all the way!!!

Trust them - they got our visas in 12 hours I didn't know whether to chance using eta but we were desperate. Wasn't sure if the good reviews were genuine - but this one is. It's expensive and I don't know how they do it, but they do. Using PayPal made me also think I could challenge if it was a scam, but it was genuinely an excellent service
