AUSlightly lower price does not compensate for rude & inadequate service This is a legitimate business. The flight I booked was ticketed and I took the flight. I do not however recommend this website despite the slightly lower price I paid. I had a small problem with my booking. The reservation confirmation showed the correct spelling of a passenger name but the ticket showed an extra letter. Given the confirmation showed the correct spelling I assume the error was made by airfare.com so I called them. They wouldn't help and I bounced back and forth between airfare.com and the airline. At one point I was in a meeting at work and received 12 calls within 2 minutes. I didn't know who they were from so ended the meeting assuming it was an emergency. Turns out it was airfare.com and when I called back I was shouted at, told everything was my fault and I would have to pay penalties. The agent was easily the rudest customer service representative I have ever encountered, eventually I hung up on him to avoid further abuse. Airfare.com never adequately addressed my issue but it was minir so wasn't a problem when checking in. I will not use this company again because of their attitude to customers.

GBDO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL AGENT DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL AGENT. We purchased 4 flights from the US to the UK in December 2019 (before COVID-19). After several months of the corona virus, the airline (Virgin Atlantic) cancelled the transatlantic flights, and when we asked airfare.com to help process a refund or change of flights, they demanded an additional $1700 in fees ($425.00 per person!) They refused to provide any help whatsoever unless we paid this amount. Virgin would not help either with the refund saying we had to go back through the agent. I CANNOT RECOMMEND STRONGLY ENOUGH THAT YOU DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL AGENT.

GBPoor Experience, rude staff. We (family of 5) booked a trip on Air France, using Airfare.com website. At one point, a glitch, believed to be in the Air France booking system, led to the cancellation of our return flight, without notifying us. We discovered the error by chance, about 2 weeks prior to the departure date. When I called Airfare agency asking for help and support, I got an agent, with a Middle Eastern accent, who was the most unhelpful, rude, and impolite person I have ever spoken with, in my entire life. I did not think that a human being as disrespectful as this man may exist on earth. I sent a complaint by e-mail, with no answers or apologies. I strongly recommend avoiding any businesses with this company (Airfrare.com) at all times.

GBSTAY AWAY. SCAMMERS!!!!!! I bought a roundtrip flight from jfk to rio scheduled for august 2020. Due to covid and government restrictions the flights were canceled of course. Airfare.com tried to SCAM me out of $350 for a change fee when the flights were cancelled due to the restrictions in place. I contacted the airline directly who had no change fee due to the covid situation. I was able to reschedule directly with the airline. Pleaseeee stay away from Airfare.com they are a scam and should not be in business. Very unethical company and SCAM artists.
