CADeception Live in Canada, went to website of a Canadian hotel. Booked reservation and did not read the fine print on the checkout page. Received confirmation email from reservations.com with the rate in USD. After returning home, discovered USD14.99 "booking fee" on my credit card statement. Called reservations.com and told that booking fee is on the checkout page and could not be refunded, even though no mention of booking fee USD14.99 on the confirmation email. First, deception in disguising as hotel website, Second, deception in fine print booking fee. I shall hotel direct in future. Booking online is a minefield of EXTRA and HIDDEN charges. Hope this helps others avoid the extra costs/frustration I experienced.

CAFraudulent/Unauthorized Charges to CC prior to hotel check-in I made a reservation through reservations.com and was charged other charges that were not authorized on my credit card prior to checking into the hotel. There was no invoice or explanation for the additional charges. The charge for the hotel room booking was separate and agreed to. Both charges appeared on my credit card prior to checking into the hotel. I'm disputing the charge and taking this to media.

CA• We booked a room at the Delta Hotels… • We booked a room at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Edmonton Centre Suites for the Roger Waters concert. When the concert was cancelled (due to COVID) both Delta and Reservations told us "too bad". Use the room for the day you booked. No refund, no credit, just triple the regular room rate due to it being a concert day. Delta pocketed $434 for one night and Hotel Reservations.com pocketed their fee. • We travel a lot so going forward, I will never book through Hotel Reservations.com. I have cut up my Marriott rewards card and plan to never stay at one of their hotels again.

GBDon't Be Fooled... These People Are Fraudulent: The True Meaning Of BAIT AND SWITCH. Total Liars That Make You Believe You Are Working WithThe Actual Hotel But In reality They Book The Room With Exspedia And Charge You 70.00 Extra. This Company Is A Third Party Trying To Get Your Money By Any Means Necessary And Really They Should Be Ashamed Of Themselves. I Tried To Cancel My Reservation In The Time Frame Allowed To Me And Well You Guessed It They Said It Was To Late. Note: Please Do Not Book With These People Save Yourself Aggravation And Irritation. Avoid At All Costs It's Absolutely "FRAUD" Never Will Happen To Me Again!!!

GBMade us think we were talking directly … Made us think we were talking directly to hotel. Never mention their real name. Never received a confirmation to email we gave them. Over charged from regular hotel rate plus extra $15 on credit card. Never had a phone number to complain to until we received our credit card statement. What a joke. Real scammers. So sad for older people. Shame, shame.
