GBBait and switch beware Bait and switch beware. I’m not even an hour into my plan and I was waiting for my confirmation email and never received it. I called ChooseTexasPower.org and I believe they aren’t as honest as well. Anyway, the bill I signed up was much different than what they told me was in the system. Prices are ridiculous to the point where you know you would have never signed up and you would have remembered the rates. These ppl tell you 9 cents then switch up to 15 and 20 cents. What I look like??? I thought I was by wing relieved and come to find out bait and switch.

GBTerrible customer servicer and hard to reach decision maker… They turned on power at wrong adress and left me without power at my new residence. Three days and counting. Impossible to get any service via phone. They say back office is handling switch but no way to talk to a supervisor or anyone at back office. Not worth the cheap rate. Use Champion.

GBAVOID Nice on the phone but ridiculously difficult to deal with as far as getting anything taken care of when there is any type of issue.

GBDONT GET SERVICE HERE Horrible the agents have attitudes they don’t work with you and lie about payment arrangements to refuse to give you one . There’s no price match or anything helpful. The price and rate increase consistently it’s crazy after being with this company for two years

GB4 Change Energy Prices Ads are Misleading 4 Change Energy advertises 12.9 cents/kwh on the Choose Texas Power (CTP) website - it's still on the web site today. What they don't tell you is that is the price if you use EXACTLY 1000 kwh. If you go over or under by 1 kwh, the price goes up by 50% to over 19 cents/kwh. 4 Change also advertises a BBB grade of A+. Not sure how, but they actually have an A-. The 3.6 out of 5 stars is also not confirmed, and I have no idea how they got that score - especially after reading pages of customers giving them 1 out of 5 stars on reviews on the BBB website. The Choose Texas Power Commission appears to be complicit in allowing misleading information - they informed me that they know of other companies that use "trick rates" like 4 Change uses. I am no longer with 4 Change, and happy to be free from their little tricks and traps. Beware their next poor victim.
