I purchased a pre-purchase inspection… I purchased a pre-purchase inspection for $219.99 for a used car on 3/23/24 through Lemon Squad. Their website listed someone coming to look at the car on 3/23/24, almost immediately after I set up the appointment. It then was changed to 3/25/24 at 11:45AM at the car dealership. My salesperson called me multiple times on 3/25/24 because no one from Lemon Squad called the dealership nor showed up to complete the service. I called Lemon Squad to discuss and their response was placing my order on hold until I found another car for them to inspect. I stated they missed two appointments and I just wanted a refund. They stated my order/money would have to stay in an on hold status for 90 days at which time I could request a refund. They stated this language was in their terms and conditions which I didn’t read anywhere. I want a refund because services were never rendered. Update: On 4/16 I got an update they went to the dealership and the car sold and they couldn’t complete the inspection. Of course the car was sold, I took it to a a local mechanic who completed a PPI and I bought the car. I called Lemon Squad to explain and they stated sorry no refund because their rep came out and no car was available. Lemon Squad is the true lemon.

I should always read reviews here… I should always read reviews here before I try something new... They did send someone to inspect the car I was considering. Everything on the report was marked "good" except for things that I could easily see myself, like wear on the seats, and an alert light was on. He said he did a road test, but I don't think he did. As soon as my husband drove it, he noticed some shaking when applying the brakes, and the car "jerks" when it shifts while driving. That's transmission!! I specifically said in my request that I was concerned about transmission (it's a known issue in this vehicle, but obviously doesn't happen to them all). There are several other little things wrong, but those two are big. We bought the car, based on their report and my brief test drive. Off to the dealership next week, for a proper inspection.

Very Deceptive Company Very deceptive company. Their reviews are so bad, that they have to falsely show a schema markup on their google search results as having a 4.9 review rating from 1500 customers. But when you ask them where can you find these so called reviews they dont have an answer for you. Essentially, they added schema markup code to their website that fraudulently shows them of having stellar reviews. Only desperate companies use this dishonest tactic to fool unsuspecting customers. I called them out on it and they slammed the phone in my face. So now I have contacted google to let them know what they are doing (which is completely against Google's TOS) and they will get penalized as a result. I'm also doing some other things to let the world know not to deal with this company. Stay far away from Lemon Scam.

Hasn't adapted to modern times Like others have mentioned, the lack of speed is killing them in a tight market. I ordered my inspection Sunday night, it was performed Wednesday, and I didn't get the report until Saturday night. By which point I'd jumped on another opportunity. I paid $149 for this service 5 years ago and that was good value - it no longer is at the current rate. I'd give the inspection 4 stars, the pictures 1 star (half were very out of focus, all were taken using a potato), and the timing 1 star.

Lemon Squad is a Lemon Lemon Squad is a Lemon! It's a complete scam. They claim to have A+ rating with the BBB on their Google ads, however they are not even accredited by the BBB. Look it up! They did not show up to their appointment with the seller, however their website claims the inspection was underway. 3 days later still waiting for the inspection to be completed. Their policy is NO REFUNDS, so BEWARE!
