BMW M440i audio upgrade I dealt with CJ and Nelson, who both gave excellent customer service. The Alpha One speakers and amp are a huge improvement in sound and I would recommend the upgrade without hesitation. Thanks guys; a job well done!

This review is overdue This review is overdue, but I needed to test the product for a while first! When I first contacted Bimmertech to upgrade my BMW 3 Series E93 convertible, I spoke with Jorge. He was fantastic to work with, and he comforted me before my purchase and later at the shop, ensuring that my car would be in good hands while I waited at a hotel nearby, which he also recommended. My car was retrofitted with Speakers (all), Amp, CarPlay MMI PRO and backup camera, and a code, all purchased with Bimmertech and installed on the same day. It is a two-hour drive, and I dropped off my car a day before. I made another appointment to return to Bimmertech a week after the installation because the HDMI cable was not exposed for me to plug in the Roku for passenger viewing. After minor clarification, Jorge had the technician do this little fix. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and even my little Yorkies waited with me at the shop while the techs exposed the cable. It was a well-worth two-hour drive, and enjoyed Orlando. The appearance of the interior of my car has not changed visually, but the sound has improved exponentially! It is good that Bimmertech customized the equipment to the acoustics of my car, and it is a pleasant experience to enjoy good tunes at its optimal volume and sound level without distortions. Bimmer-tech = professionals Bimmer-tech = professionals. Have your Vin ready and they know EXACTLY what you need. There techs are timely and on point. So, I Purchased MMI Prime, rear camera, Bluetooth module, Alpha one AMP. My Blue toothless 2020 335D was a new case for them. But their techs and coders got everything talking to each other like it was factory installed. As a software engineer for many years myself, I really appreciated their efforts.

Carplay MMI Prime I bought Carplay MMI Prime. It was a simple installation and my car feels like new. I can't describe how fast my phone connects to carplay over wifi, definitely faster than embedded carplays that comes with the car. You should definitely try

Need Carplay in an older BMW? YES!!! This is it! I watched a few videos prior to purchase, as MMI Prime was very well reviewed and the product turns the dull old i-Drive into a modern CarPlay machine. I purchased the MMI Prime from the website, and it shipped and arrived very quickly. It took me a couple of hours to install, as I also installed a rear camera that attached to the MMI Prime (from BimmerTech). The provided instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow. Every car probably has unique fitment issues as they are all different, my F10 only differed slightly from the instructions, but generally speaking there is plenty of room to secure the unit behind the dash. The cables supplied had sufficient length and was never an issue. The cable connecters were spot on perfect and there are no special wire joints needed. Truly plug and play! Once the unit was installed, it started working immediately and was able to pair my phone on the first try. The i-Drive controller navigation works better than I expected, and the overall the experience makes it a joy to use. The MMI Prime has plenty of settings to tweak it to your own liking (like EQ) and are easy to find and understand. So far everything is working as expected. I'm super happy to have made this purchase and would highly recommend this to anyone trying to add CarPlay in an older BMW.
