Design is flawed and instructions a terrible. The instructions are terrible and the QR code link to an installation video only shows step 1 and I could not find any videos for the remaining steps. With some minor design changes the cover should seal okay but without modifications it leaves a 3/8” gap at the tailgate. Also the roll cover does not center between the side rails. It either sets a little to the left or a little to the right.

AUTO RETRACT BED COVER put auto retractable cover on a 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 instruction are pretty sketchy and i'm pretty good with mechanical/electrical assembly !!! front gasketing and rubber flap on the main box itself was very unclear as to what to do with it! page telling you to put on end caps was 4 pages back in the instructions! should have been 1st !!! after that delay things went pretty smooth. still don't understand the expensive extruded measuring bar !!! LOL !!! has double sided tape and plastic end caps on it, just to use once and throw away !!! seems to be water resistant, although i have the optional Chevy tailgate and there is no way to seal the cracks. other than these things,it looks good and functions as specified.

Bought a retractable cover for a 2020… Bought a retractable cover for a 2020 Ford Ranger. Installation was nothing too difficult if you’re mechanically inclined, and the looks and security of the cover are both great, BUT there are a few cons. I knew the container for the cover was gonna take up about 10-12 inches of storage, but the cover itself doesn’t close all the way into the container. It takes up about another 8 inches for a total of 19 inches! Leaving about only 3.5 feet of storage for bulky items in a 5 foot box. The other con was that the cap bolts that go through the clamps that hold the cover to the bed are too short by about an inch on both sides. I had to buy longer bolts from amazon. If you’re constantly putting bulky items in your truck, I wouldn’t recommend this cover, but if you just want security for your tools, camping gear or sports gear, than I highly recommend this cover for you.
