They ruined a 5 month journey of a life time They ruined a 5 month journey of a life time. Here is how (lift kit review): : 1- I asked to ship the part to Mexico. They said that by the end of the day they were gonna make it possible. After about 1 month and two weeks (and multiple attempts to talk to them) they never sent the package to Mexico.As a result I flew to USA to pick up the part ($115 on shipping within usa + part taxes to import to Mexico + i had to check in the parts for the flights, not included the plain tickets) 2- Once I got the parts in Mexico, 4 different mechanics said that they were not gonna install the parts because they did not like the parts (In addition, there are other professionals that do not recommend lifts bigger than 1.5 inches for Prius) 3- I asked the instructions on how to install the parts (asked more than 10 times, maybe more than 20 times) so I could find alternative ways to install the parts. Its been 5 months and until today I have not gotten the instructions. Conclusion: I finished my 5 month journey (8500 miles + thousands of dollars invested) without the lift in the car, which was a major upsadt because it limited my capacity to visit the coolest places (which) was the principal goal of the entire trip). It is not over yet. 4- I reached out to them to return the part. They said they could only refund the part if I was not able to install it. I told them the story that I could not install it, which made me qualified to the refund according to their terms. I am waiting for their reply for more than month and I have tried to reach out to them multiple times. If I had gotten Priusoffroad lifts, I think everything would've been ok because they ship to Mexico and they don't hide installation instructions.

Dumpster fire. Almost $1k unrefunded since 2022 The ordering process is pretty straightforward. Click to buy, and then wait. ...and wait... and wait some more..... While waiting, I was in touch with the one and only person that runs everything: owner/operator Duwayne McClendon. He provides his personal/business phone number, and also direct messaging through social media outlets for customer support. I was reassured many times that my order was just on the cusp of shipping, and things still humming along with this well-oiled machine of an operation. That was 8 months ago. The order I had originally purchased for nearly $1k has not been fulfilled nor refunded (refund requested on multiple occasions) to this day. All the while waiting, I resourced the parts and my own kit of things I had ordered that Overlanding failed to fulfill. Aaand it only took just a little over a months time from starting my own project to a successful install. Do yourself a favor and find a credible source buyer/distributor of any part sold for a Prius before throwing your money at this Prius Overlanding scheme. Since originally purchased, Prius Overlanding has not been willing to even grant a partial refund amount of my original purchase from over 14 months ago! There aren't any good reasons in mind as to why anyone would like to buy any part or service through this operation. The owner/operator clearly can't handle their custumer support, operations, nor merchant fulfillment logistics. My one-star posted today will only turn in to a two-star review once I've been refunded, in full, for my original purchase amount placed October 2022. P.S. **It is not available on Trust Pilot to select an "ordered date" beyond 12 calendar months. My order with Prius Overlanding was placed October 14th, 2022.** What does that say about how this company does business as far as timeliness of fulfillment, (n)or refunding customers? P.S.S. (March 15th, 2024) owner, Duwayne McClendon, has communicated by email and through public (not private DM) social media platforms that he does not belive I should be refunded for my order at all. What a bizarre buying experience... avoid the headaches with this "business" at all costs. P.S.S.S. *Reaction to Prius Overlanding McClendon's response* >"We value open dialogue and encourage constructive conversations. If you have specific concerns or questions, we are more than willing to address them privately and ensure a fair and accurate representation of the situation." >>McClendon has blocked my personal phone number to where I cannot call nor text, blocked my Facebook and messenger acct, has not responded to emails sent to care at priusoverlanding.com, ignores direct messages and hides/deletes comments made to IG black.jmyntrn_ trying to get ahold of the business. Where else should "we" look to communicate effectively?

I never received it I never received it! Luckily I canceled and had my bank get the money back for me! I finally got my money back after about 5 or 6 months after my order. They kept giving me the run around! I talked to one guy that said it would be a 30% restocking fee on an order i never received. They said they were going to move to a new system that didn't charge the customer until their order was shipped! My experience was so bad that I would not recommend this company to anybody.

It's been 2 months and I still haven't… It's been 2 months and I still haven't received my order. I tried emailing no response. I can't get a hold of anyone on the phone.

Enough is enough My order was placed on January 6th, 2023. It has now been 229 days, or just over 7 MONTHS. I stopped even trying to get updates, every time I called or contacted Duwayne (The owner and only employee of this "company") he would have a new excuse, and a new promise. I have been told no less than 3 times that my order would be "shipping this week". The products aren't even worth it, I ordered both items from eBay, imported from China, the same exact place he sources his parts from. Guess what? I had my parts in 12 days. They processed, packaged and shipped my parts from ACROSS THE GLOBE in less time than it takes for Duwayne to respond to an email. Do not give him your money, do not listen to the lies. Duwayne is a scammer. Oh, and since he will absolutely respond to this review saying that he "Can't prove I'm a real customer"... Order Number is 49779. Wishing Duwayne and the company nothing but the worst.
