Easy to use. A great product that is easy to use and made the wiring job look more like an auto electrican had done it.

I am a retired guy who loves to DIY all… I am a retired guy who loves to DIY all sorts of projects. I also live on an island off the SW coast of FL....so moisture and salt water are the two biggest causes of electrical issues. Before your product, I had to find regular butt connectors, go find my old soldering gun, flux and solder....and then go scrounge up some right size heat shrink tubing. This would often take longer than the actual repairs themselves. Now, I just grab a box of your connectors and my heat gun and I am in business. Easy to use and, in the few months I have been using them, they seem quite strong and impervious to moisture...including salt water. I use a lot of them on boats I am working on....including my own. So far, they are even working well on my bilge pumps that I just replaced....an area that is constantly wet with salt water.

Overall an asset to wire repairs but not a total solution for all applications. I didn’t go all 5 stars because commercials were slightly deceptive. Because the application in commercials is time accelerated, it gives a buyer the impression that application is really quite quick, but in fact takes a pretty significant amount of time to heat / shrink / melt. It’s actually much faster to accomplish the same task with old school solder iron and heat shrink. Also, the larger the solder stick part, the longer the application. The largest is almost worthless and can be hit or miss on whether it actually bonded. I mostly use this kit for the smaller sizes and that it works well for.

Good solution: no more electrical tape Holds better than electric tape with two wires twisted together. Easier use than heat shrink tubes and heat gun, should be sturdier and watertight too.
