I was elated with the transparency from the start in addition to the next day UPS air shipping covered by the company to get my data in their hands. I was constantly updated via phone calls about the status of my drive and how the engineers' progress was coming. I was made to feel like a cared for customer and that is exactly what I was. I had my data back on my computer in a matter of a week and a half and I have zero complaints. If I were to ever require data recovery services again, Fields Data Recovery is who I would go to in a heartbeat.

Don't know the reason for asking $1200… Don't know the reason for asking $1200 non refundable in advance without making sure what data is going to be recoverd and what will be consequences and also, not taking care of their commitments for scanning, returnig.

Potentially Losing Data is a Scary Experience Until you talk to Fields Data Recover It's an uncomfortable experience feeling you may have lost important data. What I liked about Fields Data Recovery is that they made me feel comfortable from the start. They didn't make any promises but they certainly gave me confidence we might get it back. Business model is good and altruistic. We didn't have any risk we had to take on during the evaluation of the failed device. Basically, they are doing a lot of the hard work for "free". I place a lot of trust in this company from now on.
