I first started using Bonsai to help… I first started using Bonsai to help with writing a contract for freelance work. Since then, I've used it for everything needed for my freelance clients. I use time tracking and invoicing all the time and love how it works. I'm someone who regularly seeks out new software and I've NEVER thought about replacing Bonsai. The new updates make the experience even cleaner and more delightful to use. Theres also functionality ready and waiting for me if I decide to expand my freelance practice. Overall, I LOVE Bonsai!

Bonsai / Hello Bonsai is Terrible Bonsai / Hello Bonsai is absolutely terrible. They charge ridiculous transaction fees and then hold your money up for weeks after the payment has been made. Absolutely infuriating, they have massively screwed up my business. I wish I had known this before signing up with them. I canceled my account with them as soon as I learned about their predatory practices. Literally, any other service would be better than Bonsai. In addition, Bonsai support is practically non-existent. I have never paid so much for a service and not been able to get an actual person on the phone to try to resolve even the most basic issues.

So grateful I came across Bonsai It's been a gamechanger for my business, streamlining my client process, making it easy to track invoices and easy for clients to pay me, easy to get "paperwork" out of the way...an indispensable tool all around. I tell other freelancers about it whenever client management comes up. Oh, and clients enjoy using, too. It makes everything easy for them, too, and seems to leave a favorable impression of me. So if you want to smooth wrinkles out of your biz, and look good doing it, yeah, I'd say start using Bonsai.

Game Changer I have used Bonsai for over two years to manage my freelance writing business. The time tracking, project proposal and contract forms, and invoicing tools have been a game changer. I no longer waste time creating things from scratch, manually entering my work time into a Google sheet, or searching for what to have in a proposal or contract. There are so many more useful tools in Bonsai and I look forward to using them as my business grows.

Great platform Hello Bonsai is a great platform for freelancers. I especially like the contracts and invoices features. This tool is very helpful for anyone who needs to follow up with clients, send them professional looking email reminders, sign legal binding contracts without hassle and process payments. I had a little issue with my receiving my payments, but customer service chat answers within 24 hours and were very helpful to resolve this.
