Channel Advisor Review...not good For the CSE module you are way better off with the $149.00/mo feed products (goDataFeed). We feel very misled by Channel Advisor. The price is ridiculous for what you get. Literally worse usability, service and performance than the way cheaper products. If you insist on trying them- add an EARLY OUT clause to your contract, because no matter how UNHAPPY you are, the will NOT let you out. This company focuses on revenue NOT results.

Beware auto renewal clauses We entered into an annual contract with Channel Advisor. They struggled to set us up on Amazon which took them 2 months with no setting aside of fees in this period. They include a 12 month auto renewal clause but do not provide any notice of the renewal. We cancelled on receiving the invoice on the anniversary but they are going legal to force us to work with them for another year. This is an unusual way to have a constructive business relationship. Avoid and set up on Amazon yourself as they add little value and prey on small businesses.

Good software but not the best company CA is probably the best solution in the marketplace for sellers wanting to offer goods on multiple marketplaces. The software is comprehensive and relatively easy to learn and use. It is also stable with few day-to-day problems. However, it is also the most expensive solution out there (by far) and they require a one year contract. In addition, they are not easy to break away from when the contract expires. They continued to charge us even after our contract expired and forced us to go through our bank and credit card company to recover the extra charges. We also found them very inflexible. You pretty much have to accept it is their way or the highway. All in all it is good software but not the best company to work with.

Channel Advisor Managed Services does… Channel Advisor Managed Services does not provide enough time for their assigned account manager to be effective. With ten clients to manage for each account manager and a 30 minute weekly meeting, this allows just 3.5 hours to work on your account each week. That is barely enough time for implementation let alone training. That is why their timeframe for most things 3 months is out. Managed Services does not mean managing the entirety of your account. They manage only setup of marketplaces and actions within the Channel Advisor platform excluding the bulk data management. Your account manager may not be experienced enough in your industry to effectively launch your marketplace stores. Our industry has a lot of MAP (minimum advertised price) policies and did not think to suggest a profitability factor for listings, thus causing our store launches to sell products that are not profitable for marketplaces. So, do not expect fast results.

The ABSOLUTE WORST -- POTENTIAL FRAUD The ABSOLUTE WORST. They sold us on a robust list of partners and then had no one on their integration list for us to use. They charged us -- a small start up -- $40,000 to "integrate" and then auto-renewed on a credit card even though they had not provided any service.
