Spam from Appen on Job listings I have not tried Appen, but they are spamming job listings (2022). Users are paid for referrals, which explains why they post so many ads. They earn money if you sign up through their referral link... Unfortunately this is causing too much spam wasting others' time.

Appen Was Wrong On 2 Counts I set up a profile at Appen. It informed me that it detected a VPN that had to be disconnected before I could see any tasks. I get my Internet service through my telephone company. No VPN on any device in my house. When I tried to log in one more time, my password didn't work. I tried to reset my password. The site said my account had been disabled. I contacted customer support, which informed me that I had violated community standards. I read their community standards. I violated none of them. I took a screenshot of an Internet speed test, which showed my telephone company as my Internet provider. I sent it to the customer service agent to prove that Appen had been wrong. If Appen got 2 important pieces of information wrong about me, what else are they getting wrong?

If you like your intelligence to be systematically abused and getting ridiculous paid (or may not cos you will never know till the end of the month) after long working hours, then work for Appen. They are the masters of making you feel like a useless piece of object!!!

A waste of time A waste of time. Spent 4 hours on a project called "Anthurium" and used a high-end recording device for the task. Fast forward 4 weeks, some Indian call-center guy messages me today, telling me my submissions were rejected and that I'm not going to receive any payment. LOL Should've known better.

Appen is just rubbish. Appen is just rubbish. Trying to log in when you are told that you have "jobs" to do. Told you are on the "client" side. try to log in on the "contributor" side. Changed password. Sent to a page where you have to put in your phone number for an SMS code. Put in that code and it STILL WILL NOT LET YOU IN FFS!!!!!!! Then you go back having saved your email and password for the upteenth time and it says "your email and password combo are invalid" Make up your mind Appen. I either have tasks to complete and your let me in or your delete my account!!!!!! What a crock of s***t UPDATE: These people contacted me and asked for screenshots of the issues. Sent these. Still nothing. Still can't log in!
