Genuine alternative to predatory payday loans! So 2023 has not been kind to a lot of us. Between wild inflation and family members in tight bonds, everything this year has expensive as...heck. Recently my credit score dropped 60 points after I closed an account with fraudulent activity. While working to get this nonsense off my credit report for good, I realized I'm going to need a loan to get through the next period of financial priorities, and I do not have the credit right now to get a decent one. After researching CDFIs in my state I came across Economic Justice Fund. I honestly thought since I live in a different part of CA that they wouldn't approve me, but they came through with a decent loan (less than what I wanted but a good amount) and most importantly a FARRRR better APR than ANY other lender would have given me.
