GBAn obvious scam An obvious scam. I published a book with WW Norton in 2017 and have had no trouble whatsoever promoting it. YOP called me cold one day and started selling me, with the caller stumbling over the name of the book, and unable to explain what it was about. I very clearly told them that I did not need a publicist and knew this was a scam company. Days later the same caller called back, saying "do you remember me?" and started pitching again. Somebody should shut down these crooks.

GBI guess getting The Call is a sign… I guess getting The Call is a sign you’ve “made it” in the worst time for authors in publishing history? I just hung up with my guy, who was calling straight from a boiler room. I swear I heard a monkey acting out in the background as well as several other exotic noises. I actually think that I might be a better online publicist than this scam company as I know how to read, am familiar with several books and authors, and even know some retail folks. However, I’m pretty sure it’s a thankless job. Good luck to anyone trying to break into publishing. PS: We have devised a special torture for telemarketers. If we get return phone calls from you people, you will get your comeuppance. When you least expect it, expect it. Don’t force me to show you my influence….

GBFour Stars I must first say I was somewhat apprehensive about publishing my book with YourOnlinePublicist, but after talking to and working with Mr. Jerry Javier I decided to take a leap of faith. Mr. Javier has been very helpful and caring along with his production team. They created two amazing book covers for me. I have not gotten back the feedback on purchasing books that I can sell to friends and family, but I am sure I will. Over all they did an amazing job.

GBit is RIDICULOUS how many times a day… it is RIDICULOUS how many times a day this company calls my personal cell phone number. I have asked MULTIPLE times to STOP the phone calls, but you call me from different numbers so that I cannot block. SO MANY TIMES A DAY. it is harassment. Your relentless calls are enough to make people NEVER want to work with you - EVER. STOP CALLING ME.

GBA Nuisance and a Scam Like many other reviewers, I have also received many unsolicited phone calls and offers to represent one of my books. The calls persist even after repeated requests to stop calling. Not only is it downright harassment, it creates great suspicion as to the quality of their services. It's best to hang up on the spot!
