When they finished installing the doors I indicated that it seemed to me that there was a lot of separation between them and they did not close properly, but they did not pay much attention to me. That was when the next day I called Glen Whitaker to inform him and he very efficiently and kindly sent me an installer to correct the hinges and adjust the doors to close properly to prevent air from passing through. The problem was corrected, thank you! But after a few hours I realized that there was another problem, the lock did not close with the key... so I called the company again and another installer came back to see the problem. The installer could not solve the problem and a new lock had to be ordered...Finally, after a few days, another installer came with a new lock and the problem was finally solved. In my point of view, the first installers should have solved and warned to the company and the client of the problems that occurred and not making the client responsible for making all the calls, informing the company of each problem every time.

Excellent service The whole process was great from start to finish. Great communication throughout. A considerate company that were understanding of budget restrictions and gave options to help with these. The installers were very friendly, clean and efficient, they even finished the work ahead of schedule. There were two minor defects that we spotted with the windows after installation, SJB sent an installer round that same day to fix these. Can’t fault their excellent service.

Top quality in every aspect. Fantastic service from first point of contact with Jake in the office, through Paul in sales, Terry who surveyed and through to the highly professional team of three fitters. We are incredibly happy with the service received. These quality wooden sash windows look amazing, are competitively priced, and were fitted with zero fuss and minimal disturbance to the day to day running of the house. They cleaned up after themselves and even took away our nasty ‘70s secondary glazing units! We will be using Sjbsashwindows again next year for a further 7 windows.

Started off very well but went a bit downhill..... The initial consultation and survey visits were great, very helpful and informative. Communication with the office was also good. But sadly we had a less happy experience with the fitting team. The job over-ran, which was not the end of the world, but I felt the attention to detail on the finish was disappointing. The issues were ultimately resolved, but only after I asked the surveyor to come out and look at the issues himself - he acknowledged that there were a number of things which needed to be rectified. The windows themselves are fine, and I can see that most people have had a happy experience, but I was left feeling a bit a bit flat.
