Beautiful Shoji Doors! From a practical standpoint, the shoji doors from Cherry Tree Design create a nice partition between rooms. The thing that makes these special is the beautiful craftsmanship. They are gorgeous! Everyone who comes to our home notices them and asks about them. It is clear that the folks at Cherry Tree Design take pride in their work. Overall a well designed and packaged product. However, there are a few recommendations. Assembly went smoothly except kick panel was .06 inches too high but I could fortunately trim the excess since it was a concealed cut. More thought needs to be put into the valance end caps. Only one mitered end was provided on our custom order. I am to miter the other end plus the two end caps. For anyone except a very well-equipped finish carpenter the average DIY'er will find it impossible to miter the extremely hard, tight grained bamboo without special tools. I didn't do a great job joining the mitered corners and it ruins the effect of the rest of the precision product. No end caps for the extruded aluminum rail are provide so an adhesive has to be applied by the user. I suggest that Cherry Tree Design provide pre-mitered end caps, miters at both ends of the facia piece and leave only one simple square cut for the installer.

A wonderful and practical concept with outstanding communications throughout the process. We ordered two products from this company. The TV surround does a great job of hiding the big TV when not in use, yet very attractive looking. Goes well with our decor and furnishings. The second product was the sliding door used to close off the wall-in closet in our master bedroom. Again, creative, elegant and innovative in design. Extremely pleased with the quality of work and the care taken when time to ship to us.
