GBBest builder I found I purchased a container home from Bob's after discovering photos of their work on Instagram. I called to get more info and had to set an appointment. The phone rep was able to give me basic info and direct me to their website with pricing. I was hoping to speak to a rep right away but they said it is their process and to check the website for ideas of layouts Fast forward I bought a 40ft model called the joshua. During the process I had a dedicated project manager who updated me using their software on the progress. I was able to ask questions and make changes . Delivery took some time as my contractor didn't get a foundation poured on time. Bob's held my container in storage while it was being completed. They mentioned a storage fee but ultimately waived it. Overall I had a good experience with them. Few unknowns like the build speed and delivery time worried me but they made it happen.

GBBobs Containers = Excellent Bobs Containers is great service, fast construction, and transparent. We requested a quote on the website and Nathan (sales rep) called us the same day we asked for it. He walked us through making the right decision on financing and he even recommended a general contractor in our area for utilities. No other company was as responsive and helpful. We are now waiting for delivery and after seeing the completed photos we could not be more excited!!

GBThis is a long review but thorough This is a long review but thorough. I promised the company I would give an honest review so here it is. Let me start by saying this has been the most dreadful and unprofessional process from start to finish. Coupled with a severe lack of communication and unaccountability. Ive felt like a transaction the whole time, not a relationship. I started this process in March, and made my deposit in early April, I was originally told 6-8 weeks to complete, then 8-10, then 12+. Silence for weeks. On May 2nd, I was told the build would start soon to pick my finishes. I never received communication or updates on CoConstruct (the platform to track the build for owners). In Early June, I reached out to find out that they had not started the process and no one could provide a clear answer to why. In addition, the team I was to work with now was all brand new, and my build had “fallen through the cracks”. New Director, new PM, and no containers were available for a build. I, not them, provided options in lieu of my original build such as purchasing others models that financing fell through, welding 2-20 ft together, etc. Nothing was available, I asked for a refund which they quickly told me no that I had signed a contract and was locked in. I fought it for a few weeks until I posted a review and got the owner to agree to a meeting and he promised a delivered build on July 15. He missed the deadline by 6 days still. I should have cancelled but didn’t. I asked for some form of discount/free delivery for missing the deadline, they built me a deck to cover the week which was three ft less than I asked for but at that point I was over it, and waited for the build. Could not do a walkthrough because the new director was out of town, when we finally did it, I was pleased with the build, he promised a delivery of Wednesday. I drove out and waited 2 extra days for the conex to arrive because they couldn’t find a truck that could carry the weight (mind you they do this everyday). I sat with furniture in the yard for 2 days. This is all after I received a threatening letter that they would put a lien on my property if the bill wasn’t paid, THIS WAS ON JULY 6TH, before they even finished. I sent pictures and described my terrain and orientation of cones for delivery. It showed up facing backwards, and the delivery guy destroyed my driveway. The neighbor and I spent hours getting him in and out of the mess he created. I understand the conex was heavy but when he couldn’t get it straight several times, with no 4wd, he buried himself. The company blamed me for not having a sufficient driveway when I have drove on this 100’s of times with trailers and never had a problem. Had a dump truck literally bring in yards of fill and base for the pad because the county requires it to be 18” above grade. From 5 pm til 11 pm we worked to get him out and unstuck. When I wrote the “director” it was my fault…. Every time I called or text or emailed it would take me repeated attempts to get a response. The new “director” in my opinion is too new to understand the process, his authority, and make any promises he can fulfill, I lost faith in him in the very beginning when he couldn’t answer my questions. Daniel however seems better suited for that role and was the only reason I conintued on, he listened, tried to make things right, and was the only one who understands customer service. They have repeated let me down. In a honest review the build looks like it was finished well, however the ac arrived loose and the floor appears to be warping. It’s been hell to get ahold of the owner again, emails go unanswered, I’ve offered my cell phone, but nothing. I set a meeting on his calendar which I missed cause I couldn’t get logged into his calendar app for some reason. Responded to his email instantly to call me but again nothing. Silence. You are on his time and he could care less I feel. I’ve never received a discount, free delivery, concession of any kind. NOTHING! They got their money and I was the one faced with all the pain of their shortcomings. I’ve lost a whole summer of rent on broken promises. I don’t doubt some builds go smooth and others can be tougher but the shear lack of accountability, customer focus, disregard for my time, money, and resources, and pointed fingers to everyone but they has made me upset. I can’t imagine how a warranty is going to go I will keep everyone updated. Proceed with caution and ensure you have deadlines, dates, and clear expectations or go elsewhere.

GBI Strongly advise against using Bob’s… I Strongly advise against using Bob’s Containers to build your home due to numerous issues. These include the company's failure to honor the warranty, non-compliance with building code standards, delayed completion, very poor communication, and unprofessional behavior from the owner. - Water pipes froze at 20 degrees, building code standard was not followed and we had to relocate all the water pipes in the house. Bob’s refused to cover the repair cost. - The HVAC equipment came dead on arrival - They refused to fix the issue unless we signed a form releasing them of all responsibility (including the 1-year warranty) - The HVAC equipment did not comply with the building code. (there was No Disconnect Boxes) - Oversized HVAC unit was installed in the Bedroom causing the unit to continually short cycle - All the doors came wracked upon delivery and would not close properly – they did not honor the warranty - They lost the keys to the house, and we had to have a locksmith replace all the door keys - Incorrect shower faucets installed, resulting in visible patch after the repair. - Unprofessional owner with final say on decisions. I have all communications and pictures of the issues and I am more than willing to share more details if it helps you with your decision.

GBQuality all around Enjoyed working with them from start to finish. Found Bob’s on Facebook and contacted them through the website. Their website was very easy to use and gave me an idea of to expect. Sales rep was very helpful when we met and answered my endless questions. I enjoyed the weekly updates and constant communication throughout the process. My container home is amazing and I’m very pleased with the quality of work.
