GBGreat Customer Support I have owned one commercial Tattletale system and I currently own two residential Tattletale systems for vacation rental homes. The systems seem to work as expected but I don't find the system logic or documentation to be particularly consumer friendly. For example I can assign simple names to sensors (e.g. Hallway) but if the alarm is triggered, the monitoring service will tell me I have a Zone 22 alarm. What does that mean? I have only recommended this product to friends who are tech savvy. The customer support is always very friendly and helpful.

GBMy Tattletail unit has performed … My Tattletail unit has performed flawlessly. It has protected the materials, tools and machinery for my custom furniture studio for 4 years. I have 2 door sensors, 2 motion sensors and a fire/smoke alarm. The Tattletail call center has provided great coverage and the technicians have helped me solve some issues that were peculiar to my location and upgraded my system as new advances become available. It is without any reservation that I would recommend Tattletail to anyone seeking protection for their property.

GBCommercial and Residental Tattletale Alarm Systems - They Just Work. We have several commercial systems that I manage and move site to site, and now I have a residential system too. They both just work. The app works flawlessly 99% of the time on my residential system and the once a year it doesn't a quick call to the Westerville Ohio based support team and they refresh the data and its back in action.

GBUnit began to malfunction only 2 years … Unit began to malfunction only 2 years after purchase. The device began to fail to sync with cellular local time. This was the first indication. By the third year, unit failed almost entirely. Not very user-friendly. The tattletale unit will not allow the option of the threshold period for door/windows opened by sensor. Only the infrared feature will allow this. The alarm itself is not loud enough to elicit anything notable. For several hundred dollars, this is not the way to go.
