Totally Worth It!!!! As a person with no experience in tech (literally), the program did a great job taking you through the basics with Linux, building upon those skills with cloud engineering fundamentals and best practices, all the way to automation, containers and skills that I now use everyday on the job. A lot of people claim that the skills you get from LUIT you can easily do on your own from Udemy. As a former teacher who has self study-skills, I don't think I could've accomplished the same things without the guidance of the LUIT team or my colleagues in the program. I'd also say the number one thing that sets LUIT apart are the projects they give which later serves as a portfolio for interviews. It's one thing to have all the certs, but another to have 15+ projects showcasing your abilities. One other thing that makes LUIT unique is the career coaching at the end of the program. The coaches did a great job helping with tailoring resumes, proving job recommendations, and walking you through the whole career search process. I started the program in January and after the program signed a job offer by October. I highly recommend the program. It's even something I've been nagging my friends and family to do too!

Amazing Coaches and real world experience Level Up in Tech provided a truly hands-on experience in gaining applicable knowledge for real work problems. The coaches are amazing and help you every step of the way while also ensuring you have the space to figure things out on your own as well. I will say for interviews, I was over-prepped for anything that was thrown my way and the interview panels have been surprised I had the depth of knowledge I did after only 6 months. If you are thinking of changing careers, I can't recommend this program enough...and yes, I have landed a job in this field after 7 years in HR!!!

Healthcare to Tech, in just 6 months This program helped me successfully transition from healthcare to tech, in just 6 months. The program not only teaches you the foundations of various DevOps tools, but also how to build connections with tech companies and recruiters. LUIT's resume and career coaching was invaluable in helping my find my first tech role. Everyday, I utilize the skills I learned in LUIT's program, and I know I would not be where I am today without them.

My Time At Level Up In Tech My time at LUIT was the best time I could have had in my tech career at that point. I was at a crossroads on where to go in my career and tried different avenues before deciding on the cloud. Before joining I had no cloud experience at all outside of studying for the AWS Cloud Practitioner in the summer of 2022 and going into the program allowed me to learn skills that I would have otherwise not been familiar with going down this path. I was a tad bit skeptical about the program as I've heard the stories around bootcamps but I saw previous success stories and I took the plunge and I'm glad I did. Level Up In Tech is a legit program that will help your career if you're willing to put in the work if you're new to this side of tech and want to get into tech period. I can only speak to my experience and not others as I learned the skills that have allowed me to excel in the job that I have now. One thing that would help LUIT I think is helping students who are still struggling to land jobs even after the program has ended or offering resources to the students still struggling to pass a certification that would otherwise help them get in the conversation for a possible job opportunity. Overall, Level Up In Tech has helped me and many others land jobs in a competitive field, and given us the skills to provide us with a better life. It is a program that is still growing daily and putting out some of the best tech talent out there led by real tech talent/coaches.
