PRI've tried them all... I've tried Babbel, Rosetta Stone, DuoLingo, etc and honestly found all of them to be frustratingly bad. I also tried watching NetFlix in Spanish with English Captions on, but found the translations tend to paraphrase vs spell out what's actually being said so it's not great for learning. LingoPie's captions are accurate, allow you to pause on words you don't know, determine the speed at which people are talking, etc, etc. LingoPie also offers instruction with live teachers. I don't know of a single online platform that can even touch Lingopie when it comes to learning Spanish.

GBAwesome What made it great I can read along and pause as many times as possible to repeat and listen to the video in my native language and the new language I'm learning. I learned new words for the first time and interesting I was able to understand when the new language I'm learning when I play the video again.

CAImproving your listening comprehension in Italian To learn to be fluent in a language, one needs to be exposed to it a lot. You can absorb easily short expressions current in daily interactions. This is why I love Lingopie. I watch films and series and often repeat current and idiomatic expressions. It has helped me understand spoken Italian a lot better.

GBGreat to get used to hearing the… Great to get used to hearing the language at a normal conversational pace. It is speeding up my mastery of the language.

CHThis is a great way to learn This is a great way to learn. Watching films, TV shows and learning vidoes and getting to see the translation in both your language and the one you wish to learn. You can also click on any word and it will be saved for you to revise after the film is finished.
