Microphone for lots of sources Microphone has very aligned sound.Perfect highs gives you possibility to shape it by eq.Sound is not "boomy" and with Manley Voxbox sounds fat and warm.With Arturia studio preamps it sounds with presence....Very good for lots of sources becouse is not exposing unnecessary frequences.I have Brauner VM1 ,Rhode NTK ...that microphone is proud in competition .

Let me start by saying the good far exceeds the not so great Let me start by saying the good far exceeds the not so great. What disappoints? The microphone mount takes an inordinate amount of force to lock down.The microphone is heavy and shock mount just droops down unless you REALLY crank down on the locking knob. I have found that mounting it upside down is better... it lowers the center of gravity and is more stable in this configuration. What's good? The fit and finish is excellent, and the sound is warm and lush. Seriously, our vocalist used it for vocals for the first time at a practice session and even going through a small Mackie mixer into a pair of powered monitors with no effects or EQ and it was stunning.

At first I was getting some digital… At first I was getting some digital sounds in some of my vocals..but after some simple unison preamps it’s sounding clear, strong and beautiful. Sounds nice with my acoustic guitar tracks too. Definitely going to be using it often.

A brilliant microphone. Buy it! I’m so happy I bought this mic. It really is tantamount to having the original model in your studio for a fraction of the price. Very characterful, but you can tone down those characteristics very easily because it seems to grab every frequency in the spectrum so you have great control in the EQ, I love it on my voice. The voice cuts through the mix really nicely, but you can tweak any part of the frequency range and give it other qualities. Buy it!
