At first I was getting some digital… At first I was getting some digital sounds in some of my vocals..but after some simple unison preamps it’s sounding clear, strong and beautiful. Sounds nice with my acoustic guitar tracks too. Definitely going to be using it often.

Dachman Has a New Satisfied Customer I have never ordered anything from Dachman Audio before and I grew concerned about shipping. I emailed support and Josh got back to me within minutes explaining the USPS carrier had not come, so they would take my order to the post office. To my surprise, I received it in 2 days! I have the Rode Classic II and modified it with the DA-CK12 for vocals. The recording I posted got an immediate response with people telling me how impressed they were with the clarity and presence of the vocals. I'm happy!

DA 87i: Best microphone I’ve ever owned It’s true, it really is the finest microphone I’ve ever owned. And certainly one of the best I’ve ever heard. I A-B’d it against a classic Neumann U87 and several other mics, and it beat them all, hands down. Crisp without over-accented sibilance, but warm and full-bodied with wonderful transience and rich lows. I’m in awe of how beautifully it captures the human voice. This mic steps up my game as a voice artist considerably. I could not be happier with my purchase.

A great microphone for recording brass instruments. I’m super enthusiastic about my new Dachman microphone. The first time I used it was for a video recording of the first of Johannes Brahms 4 Ernstige Gesänge. The microphone made it possible to use my live dynamic range on my bass trombone in my playing. The sound is very natural, full with harmonics and making my instrument sound very vocal. If you google Ben van Dijk plays Brahms you will find my recording.
