GBSo…I did a lot of research looking for… So…I did a lot of research looking for what I needed and I love the environmentally friendly idea of refurbished items. Let’s put aside the shipping issues I had the forced me to go out of my way to return one of two computers back to them. (Proving btw that their LAST ONE LEFT!! Claim was utterly bogus) The main issue was the laptop would not charge. The battery was dead. I got the laptop for around $250 which on the surface is a great deal. However, when I told them about the battery their solution was to send me a replacement battery. WTH am I supposed to do with that??? I am not a technician! I haven’t a clue as to how to switch them out and I am not a stupid person. Getting someone else to do it is a minimum of 200$ . They sent a YouTube video on How To but I don’t think it matched my computer right. All of which d defeats the purpose of an inexpensive machine! All the have to do is wait for my year warranty to run out then they can wash their hands of me. Go to Back Market or better yet Amazon refurbished.

GBA Successful Computer Due To DiscountElectronics and Saul My DiscountElectronics order just before Christmas for a Lenovo Thinkpad was fulfilled very rapidly. Since I had difficulty setting up the computer, the company assigned a Support Technician, Saul, to help me. We had not completed the setup when a critical personal situation required my full attention for several months. Last week, in April, I finally had time available, so I emailed DiscountElectronics and requested that, if possible, Saul might be reassigned to finish the job for me, even though it was my fault that it was stopped midway, months ago. To my surprise, Saul called, and completed the job very rapidly. Both the company and Saul deserve my applause.

TRVery bad product I purchased a laptop from discount electronics four days ago, i was hoping it would be good however, from the moment I turned it on, it was clear that something was wrong. It kept freezing, crashing, and the battery life was abysmal. Despite my efforts to troubleshoot, the issues persisted. When I reached out to customer service for help, I was met with nothing but frustration. The representatives were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in resolving my problem. After numerous calls and emails, I was told that there was nothing they could do and that I was stuck with a faulty laptop. Not only is the product itself unreliable, but the lack of support from the company has left me incredibly disappointed. I will never purchase from this company again and would advise others to steer clear as well. stay way from discount electronics
