Unhelpful to a fault I just want to say UA are really helpful, speedy in their response times with customers & always informative to prospective customers. I WANT to say that, but unfortunately I can’t, because I think the complete opposite! Sarcastic, arrogant & apathetic! Won’t ever be buying from them!

Some of the best out there I have used UAD plugins and hardware for many years now, and can absolutely say that it is some of the very best out there. Customer support is not the best I have experienced, but not as terrible as some make them out to be here. They always reply and try their best to solve any problem you have...but sometimes they just don't seem to be able to fix them. But somehow I have always managed to find a remedy, and keep on rocking. For a seasoned professional like me, no other company makes re-creations of familiar hardware like UAD ...and in many cases the same brand name made the originals. The new addition of native versions has really boosted the usefulness and capacity a lot...so cheers for that! The new addition of instruments is great...and some of them like the Waterfall organ and Rhodes, are the best I have heard. Lately the prices have become very reasonable...so that's a + too.

Awful company Awful company. Customer Service is not empathetic. Been having continous Issues with Windows for many many years. Just get a Focusrite or just any other interface in general. Wasted so much time.

Terrible support I finally decided to buy a UA native plugin, and so wish I hadn't. In order to even install the plugin you have to use UA Connect, which doesn't work. I've raised a support ticket but had no response other than the automated "we've received your support request". I'll be demanding a full refund and will never touch UA with a barge pole ever again. Hopeless.

Lexicon reverb plugin license absolute snafu I bought the Lexicon reverb plugin. I cannot use it, but the installation stepped through the licensing through the iLock cloud, instead of normal, without forewarning (otherwise I would not have bought it), but i don't have nor want a dongle; the company will not cancel the license and issue a refund. This is outright theft, in my opinion, very shabby customer relations in cahoots with Plugin Boutique. So I have a supposedly activated license but the VST will not properly load into Ableton Live, and I can't expunge it from my iLock either. Very, very poor.
