LIFE IS PEACEFUL AGAIN.. Some years ago my 2012 era, I was in gradschool. We then had Comcast. We at some point changed for Vonage for phone service, then. It is important to the story because the little woman has never been happy with any other phone/LD carrier since Vonage/1st time. OK technically because I was doing the satellite thing a number of years. We recently had an opportunity to get Xfinity/Comcast. Joyous ! We could finally get her back her precious Vonage, 2nd/time through. Vonage I found has expanded into business telephone. Fortunately for us Vonage for Home is still 'Rockin' Steady. I no longer have to hear complaints about them other guys. Halleluia !!! LIFE IS PEACEFUL AGAIN...

I have been using Vonage for about 20… I have been using Vonage for about 20 years, maybe a little less. As long as I have an internet connection it functions very well. Recently I had a problem, contacted Vonage and the problem was solved immediately. I believe that it was the first time I had to contact Vonage in all of this time. It's a bit expensive but when you consider what it does, it's a bargain.

Since ATT disconnected my traditional… Since ATT disconnected my traditional landline without my authorization and entered me into the VOIP phase which is suppose to be the new era for the city of Detroit, I have been disgusted in the performance, and the reliability, and the comfort I should have with feeling safe that my phone has a dial tone no matter what the weather looks like. Once I found out ATT had made the switch without my knowledge I hit the roof , made several complaints and they never came back out to replace my traditional line. VOIP phone in my opinion are NOT safe in anyone's home, if your power source is gone you have no way of reaching out for help. I have been for the last 2 years been writing to the Attorney General, BBB, our State Rep., to please let us take a vote on the Traditional landline vs VOIP and to not just let the switch take place. VOIP is not safe or reliable for our seniors, our children, for me, for NO ONE. You never know when you're gonna pick your phone up or it's just not ringing because it doesn't have a connection ?

A Smart Phone Solution! Signing up with Vonage was one of the smartest things I have ever done! After dealing with T---- phone company for many years (frustrating and expensive) I now have a house phone that I can afford and that is very reliable. I can make calls anywhere in North America, all for one low monthly price.

Stay away from this unprofessional company An absolute disgrace of a company. No way for you to talk to anyone with authority no matter how many times you call / email / chat. They say their porting department is "offline". All you can talk to is reps in India who can't do anything except apologize and "open tickets" that stay open forever and don't go anywhere. They have wasted my time for 23 days trying to do a simple number porting from Verizon. Super frustrating. Don't waste your time with Vonage please.
