GBI'm with Republic since 2014 and… I'm with Republic since 2014 and everything was good. The purchase of Republic by Dish turned out pretty unfortunate, since all the aspects of service became significantly worse, especially technical support. One bright spot: a representative called Carla (XV3) is great! Her phone support was excellent. Therefore, 5 stars for her, one star for everything else. Staying with Republic for now, but if no improvement will consider an alternative.

GBVery reliable over many years I've had RW for several years and just found out about the Dish acquisition. I did not experience any changes in my service. Really, RW has been a delightfully boring company. I just get the same low bill every month. Service is what I paid for, consistently. I've had to buy extra data - for $5 - exactly twice in many years.

GBThe transition to Dish sucks/ … The transition to Dish sucks/ trying to reach customer service sucks. trying tio get my account # and port # so I can keep my number and move to another carrier is next to impossible, I guess this is there new business model. ENTRAPMENT!!!! never had an issue while Republic Wireless was setting the tone. Would I recommend Dish ? NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!!!

GBMr. Morken, can you hear me now? I hung up after being on hold for over an hour waiting for “Support” to answer the phone. I joined the Republic wireless service during its beta phase on 12/26/11. I remained a faithful customer during the Dish takeover and upgraded to 5G devices. The service has worked reasonably well. However, support no longer exists. How can you support customers when you can't keep your own call center online? Dish? Nonetheless, besides lack of support, this takeover has created one very serious flaw in access to account information. It is no longer possible to access call history. Previously, call history was available for review and/or use for billing purposes. If it is still available, there is no obvious place to find it. Please explain why this basic feature of most cell providers is no longer available. Any professional using Republic service and billing their time, would lose all income associated with this carrier. Since it has been about 8 months since Dish assumed control, adequate time has passed for addressing this deficiency. Please make this information available via the online account console.

GBNo cellular service REVISED ALLS GOOD I called Support today and the tech was able to help me reset some settings that fixed my connection issues. All's good now! I'm primarily connected to Wifi all day. Occasionally I see the voicemail icon. When I try to check it, I receive a message on screen that no Cellular network is connected. I have 0 bars unless I restart my the phone. I don't ever remember this happening the past 7+ years with Republic. If I make calls over wifi, why do I get this message. Going to give it a little time before I move to another provider.
