Zone alarm is worse than 5 years ago… Zone alarm is worse than 5 years ago when i paid them for the service One might think that a site I have visited 10.000 times in the last 10 years might be recognised but no not even a simple google search is allowed these folks really need to pull their creative heads from the deep dark place they seem to keep them. Totally worthless in the free form thus why would i purchase the vetted version. Very irritating subset program, oh it changes for no reason from day to day also one day google is great the next day failure wake up and no accept your bs terms haha idiots

Good Software Gone Bad In the beginning, Zonealarm was a very good firewall. However, it's grown into a monster writing thousands of temporary files in less than two weeks of use on a new laptop. The ability to control installed software, from companies that poke around in your computer, under the guise that they're giving you a 'better experience' is gone. These are two major issues that have brought me to dump Zone Alarm permanently.

I bought a lifetime Office Software… I bought a lifetime Office Software pack from this company (Paid £179) , ever since on opening I get a message advising that this software may not be genuine !!! This company also installed software which allows your PC to run illegal software packages !! Now trying to get my money back .... but without success. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY>

Installed it Installed it Next time i rebooted windows, windows would not boot up. I got that message page about problems with some options such as to do a FULL reset or try a system restore. I chose system restore....LUCKILY it worked. When Windows rebooted successfully, Zone Alarm was gone. One day later,eveything is still fine.

Check all your drives Check all your drives. Zonealarm creates hidden folders called SandBlastBackup and then picks personal files based on your internet surfing and document usage and stores them. (for what?) You cannot delete them until you uninstall Zonealarm. This is beyond shady and lame. It is a complete failure to respect consumer privacy and should be illegal. CheckPoint software is MALWARE! Do not be fooled by their clever language. They are spying on you and using your files and identity WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE. I found 3 sensitive business documents in one of these folders. There is NOTHING they can say to make that acceptable. Absolutely DISTURBING.
