You pay even if they mess up! You pay even if they mess up! How is that remotely fair? It pronounces ICY as Ice Eye. And Frustration as Frust raty on. They expect people to risk using such a software for audio books? Why can't they simply allow us to listen to the audio beforehand, but put some music or sound in the background? I wasted 103579 characters with them in one sitting, without even realising that once I pressed go, my credits were gone. Will not be giving them any more money unless they change. Genuinely feels like a scam.

Great software but horrible charging concept I wanted to give this a 5 star because I do love the clarity and realistic voice it generated. It does not sound robotic. This is a great software but poorly serviced. You are charged per character EVEN if you just wanted to test the voices out which is ridiculous. Imagine paying for a service PER minutes you were logged in. That's the same level of ridiculousness this charging concept is. Obviously, we can't know what a voice will sound like unless we test it. Using ai voice is like trying on a shoe that fit except WILL get charged for that. ElevenLabs can at least create a difference in the membership by maybe offering more features with premium (possibly have more voice varieties and maybe celebrities voice cloning just as examples) instead of basing it off of character counts. Like ANY OTHER subscriptions ever, you should be able to use the service for as much as you like for as long you are paying for the service. The charging customers as they test out the voices is plain garbage. For now I will use it until I found another app that is more sensible. Other than that, the ai voice is the best one I've found so far.

dubbing feature… Great Work, Best you can get , but unfortunately the new video dubbing feature is useless without a lip sync. The audio quality is awesome but the translation needs to be editable. Orig audio -> transcription->edit-> dub with lip sync. 💲💵🤑💰 That’s what I want at least. Right now simple subtitles are doing a better job.

Absolutely amazing! I love the high quality audio of generated voices. The UI is also incredibly easy to navigate and use. The strength levels and variations are a beautiful touch as well. I do want to say however that there can be improvements to the subscription tiers and quote amount. The characters provided can burn very easily (within days of heavy use). Would prefer 2-3 times the amount as a creator (300,000 characters maybe?). It's only fair because some of the audio is not generated properly, and some are not in the correct expression/tone either.

Dubbing not there yet. I am an impact filmmaker and was curious about dubbing. I tested the trailer of one of our films that is in Arabic. While it is promising, the result is not usable. We are excited about the possibility of dubbing our films to other languages in a more affordable way. This would open up an amazing number of opportunities to increase the social impact of our films. Right now, we have to wait for the technology to improve.
