I absolutely love Doxy.me as an… I absolutely love Doxy.me as an alternative to other HIPAA protected platforms for counseling. It is so easy to use and the best part is the closeup of the camera on the subject persons and not seeing the other person as a sixth of the picture. Extra space is just a distraction and impractical when conversation is taking place. And - the fact that it's free is more than wonderful and generous on the part of Doxy.me. I just love it! All the needed features! Yesterday a patient appeared in the virtual waiting room one hour early. It was easy to use the chat feature to reschedule quickly, taking only a few seconds from the session in progress that was wrapping up anyway. Doxy.me is user-friendly for patients on any phone or computer, with no downloads or codes. I can see who's in the waiting room. If I can't reply in real time, and can reach them later since I've seen that they had a problem.

Wonderful Resource Doxy.me is a wonderful therapy/mental health/health care resource. I love having a free platform for, HIPPA complaint, secure, and private client telehealth sessions, as well as meetings with other clinicians (if needed). My only complaint is occasional issues with connectivity during calls, but that is typically due to the quality of the internet connection on the user's end. I have used their paid version before and it is also excellent. I loved the option to have a virtual waiting room, screen sharing, and background. As of right now, I don't do enough telehealth sessions to justify the paid version, but the free version is great for my current needs!
